Dying Light: The Beast New Update 1.002.002 Drops Hotfix 1.2.2. for Kyle Crane Legacy Outfit
While console gamers just received the first hotfix for Dying Light: The Beast a few days ago, Techland has today released another hotfix that ushers in a new piece of content for those who pre-ordered the game.
Zombie slayers will see Dying Light: The Beast update 1.002.002 available for download, and this is a small file to install.
Read on for the new patch details, as well as the list of issues that have yet to be resolved by Techland.

Techland statesm “If you’ve pre-ordered the game, this update makes your Kyle Crane Legacy Skin automatically granted from the server. After updating, check your in-game stash – if it’s not there immediately, it should appear shortly. Thanks for your support and enjoy your reward!”
There’s no mention of any gameplay-related changes or bug fixes in this update, sadly. Speaking of which, here’s a short list of know issues that we’re hoping gets resolved ASAP.
- Wolf axe still locked for some gamers (Pilgrim Outpost issue)
- Biter grabs broken
- HUD elements disappearing
- Progression blocker on clearing the area from infected where the game doesn’t recognize the task is completed\
- Parkour issue where Crane stops randomly and drops from climable terrain
- Input issues with dashing
- Upgrading weapons in the workbench downgrading stats
- Performance issues on consoles and PC, notably blurriness
- Frame rate drops in various instances such as lockpicking
- Lighting, HDR issues
