EA UFC 5 Update Version 1.013 Adds Four New Fighters, Fixes Gameplay Issues
MMA fans have another set of new fighters available for them for free in UFC 5! EA Has released UFC 5 update version 1.013, that adds four new fighters and bug fixes as well. This is tagged as EA UFC 5 patch version 1.13 by the dev team, and continues their excellent post-release support for the fighting sim.

New Fighters
- Tatsuro Taira (#5 FW)

Gameplay Updates
- Addressed an issue that caused fighters to glide while recovering from combos used at short range in some circumstances.
- Addressed an issue that caused fighters to glide while recovering from throwing circling or retreating strikes.
- Fixed an issue that allowed a fighter dominating the Cage Single Under Clinch position to land unblockable body punches while the fighter being controlled in that position was trying to escape.
- 10 – 8 rounds are easier to achieve.
- Made it so that the aggravation of cuts and swelling count significantly LESS for judges scoring criteria.
- Made it so that Active Knockdowns (When a fighter doesn’t fall completely and immediately stands back up) count MORE on the judges’ scorecard.
Misc. Additions and Updates
- New assorted vanity rewards added.
It has been three straight months of new fighters being added by the dev team, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon, and we’re glad to hear that. Hopefully, a new roadmap is revealed once again. The last patch released before this one was in August, which also added four new fighters alongside gameplay improvements.
