Elden Ring Nightreign Day One Update Improves Things You Won’t Know Needs Adjustments
[summaraize]
While Elden Ring won’t be available until tomorrow (technically), it is May 30 in some areas of the world, which means some people are already playing FromSoftware’s latest game already.
The studio is keeping the lines of communication this early one, as the Elden Ring Nightreign day one update changes have been revealed. If you download the game, it’s already part of the base download, so don’t fret if you don’t see a prompt to download something new.
Elden Ring Nightreign Day One Update Version 1.01 Brings Changes That Players Probably Won’t Notice
Given the game just got released, the changes made by FromSoftware won’t be noticeable given there is no comparison build to base it from. Reviewers have had access to the game previously, we’ve had the patch installed already with the changes.
Unless, of course, FromSoftware releases another patch download later today, which we wouldn’t be surprised by.
Patch contents:
- Improved handling of playable characters
- Soundtrack addition and adjustments
- Text adjustments
- Balance adjustments
- Added character scenarios
- Bug fixes
The studio didn’t elaborate on the balance changes and whatnot, which again, people won’t even be aware of since they haven’t played the game yet.
If you’re on the fence on whether to get this or not, our review of it went up yesterday, and it’s not a shocker that FromSoftware nailed it again, with our own James Lara stating, “Nightreign isn’t merely a multiplayer spin-off; it’s a testament to FromSoftware’s ability to innovate while fiercely guarding the essence of what makes a Souls game so compelling.”
