Square Enix has released Final Fantasy 14 update 10.75 (PS5 version 1.000.275) today for another patch. Check out the Final Fantasy 14 August 8 patch notes below.

Final Fantasy 14 Update 10.75 Patch Notes for August 8:

PS5 version 1.000.275

■ The following issues have been addressed:
・An issue when undertaking the healer role quest “Taste of a Toxin Paradise” wherein casting Esuna on the Laugh-weary Lalafell before the Befuddled Bather prevented the subsequent cutscene from triggering, thereby preventing quest progression.
・An issue when undertaking the quest “Making a Name” wherein the quest object “peculiar herb stalks” was not interactable when using a gamepad.
・An issue with AAC Light-heavyweight M1 and AAC Light-heavyweight M1 (Savage) wherein, under certain conditions, players did not fall when the floor beneath them was destroyed.
・An issue with AAC Light-heavyweight M4 (Savage) wherein players that were jumping during certain phase changes were relocated out of bounds.

・The name of the following item was incorrect.
Incorrect: Augmented Quetzalli Bracelets of Healing
Correct: Augmented Quetzalli Bracelets of Casting

No patch notes have been released yet, but Square Enix did say it is cracking down on cheaters. Check out the announcement below.

Actions Taken Against In-Game RMT & Other Illicit Activities (Aug. 8)

Real money trading (RMT) and other illicit activities upset the balance of the game and, as such, are prohibited under the Terms of Service.

Because we have confirmed the existence of players who are engaging in these illicit activities, we have taken the actions listed below.

Time Period: Aug. 1, 2024 to Aug. 7, 2024

・Participation in RMT/prohibited activities
・Accounts terminated: 2,479
・Accounts temporarily suspended: 31

・Botting activity (excluding RMT vendors)
・Accounts terminated: 1
・Accounts temporarily suspended: 17
*Botting activity by RMT vendors has been included under “Participation in RMT/prohibited activities.”

・RMT advertising
・Accounts terminated: 145

Players who discover any confirmed cheats should, under no circumstances, exploit or disseminate such information. Instead, we ask that players file a report by using the in-game command [System Menu] -> [Support Desk] -> [Contact Us] -> [Report Cheating].

In addition, any witnessed RMT advertisement can be reported by right clicking the character name in the chat log and selecting the menu [Report] -> [Report RMT Activity].
The report will be processed automatically, and if determined to fall under RMT advertising, the reported character’s comments will be restricted.

We will continue to take stringent disciplinary action against any accounts with confirmed involvement in RMT/illicit activity; players should take care to steer clear of any activity that violates the Terms of Service.

We will update this post as soon as we can if proper patch notes are revealed for today’s update.
