It’s not just Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that got patched today, as Square Enix also released a patch for its predecessor, Final Fantasy 7 Remake. However, compared to the sequel’s patch, the on for Remake actually introduces new features. PS5 gamers will see the download appear as Final Fantasy 7 Remake update 1.002, and version 1.004 on PC.

Upon our checking, the patch is not available for the PS4 version of Remake (sorry, last-gen owners!)

Head Start mode is like playing a game on a difficulty less then easy difficulty, your basically Op as soon as you start a new game and seriously who plays a Jrpg and doesn’t except to lvl grind and farm loot.

It’s a nice concept for casual players, who only play Final Fantasy because it’s popular but what avid Jrpg player would play Head Start mode when it literally Just hands you an op party.

Dude.
Let those people have their fun. It’s not like you HAVE to use headstart mode… I personaly use mods to make the game even more difficult! Giving bosses 10xhp and far more aggressive enemies.

But let people have their fun. Games with this type of development NEED to be accessible to wide range of players for it to even merrit production these days, with the F2P and MMO market being so lucrative, a lot of triple AAA developers are jumping ship outright.

This is a good thing!
