Fortnite Update 4.27 Brings Bug Fixes on All Platforms This May 31
While we usually get new Fortnite patches on a Tuesday (or Thursday sometimes), Epic Games has released Fortnite update 4.27 (PS5 version 1.000.139) just now on all platforms, and this is for bug fixes and not for any new content.

Fortnite Update 4.27 Patch Notes for May 31:
The official changelog has not been released just yet, but we have the list of known issues below via the official Fortnite Trello board. Note that some of the issues listed could be part of the fixes rolled out.
GENERAL TOP ISSUES:
Fixed in Future Game Update:
- Completing the purchase of a Jam Track through the “View More” button may cause you to lose other button functionality in the Shop.
BATTLE ROYALE TOP ISSUES:
Fixed in Future Game Update:
- The setting ‘Lock Input Method as Mouse’ is not working correctly
- Daily Quest background appears empty
- Players that use any form of Nitro and land in water will lose their fall damage immunity.
Investigating:
- Back Bling Beacon Glass displaying incorrectly in the Locker
In Development:
- Some Cosmetic Bundles May Not Appear in the Shop while viewing on PS4.
- Unable to jump or mantle after using consecutive Jam Loops.
LEGO FORTNITE TOP ISSUES:
Investigating:
- Villagers exploring with players may destroy structures while trying to harvest.
In Development:
- Players’ vehicles get stuck
- Consumable buff timers can be overwritten when eating another consumable with a buff
- Players are unable to sit on Seating furniture that is touching a wall
- Dynamic Structure parts may displace and shift when moving fast
- There is no indication of which direction some furniture is being placed
ROCKET RACING TOP ISSUES:
In Development:
- Locker’s Vehicles – SUV/Truck and Sports Cars sections changes to a different background color when navigating through the cosmetics options
- While the SUV / Truck Locker category is set as primary vehicle, the players Sports Car appears instead of the Behemoth Car Body upon entering a Rocket Racing island
- The skull texture of the “Behemoth Dune Hunter” Behemoth Decal is applied on the trims while the View Distance Video Setting is set to “Epic” or “Far” but is not present when using lower settings
- Ghost Car appears as the selected “Sport Car” when the SUV is equipped and set as the primary vehicle.
FORTNITE FESTIVAL TOP ISSUES:
Investigating:
- Controllers vibrating even though vibration is toggled off.
- Audio Stuttering On Switch After Extended Play
In Development:
- Players’ New High Score may show as “-100%” after a Jam Track ends.
- Jam Stage Mixers – Players need to equip Jam Tracks before hopping into the Jam Stage to access songs and start making music.
- Players will sometimes not animate on the Main Stage.
- ‘Toggle’ custom keybind interfering with ‘Open Songlist’
SAVE THE WORLD TOP ISSUES:
Investigating:
- Wildlife do not eat consumables.
