Fortnite Update 4.39 Released for v31.30 This Oct. 1
During today’s Fortnite maintenance, Epic has pushed out Fortnite update 4.39 on consoles, and this is for patch v31.30 that ushers in new content and more. This brings NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal into the game, alongside other new stuff. Read on for what’s new in the patch notes.

While the official patch notes aren’t available yet, Epic has revealed that we’ll be getting Sleep Mode!
Starting in v31.30, Fortnite will go into Sleep Mode after a player is inactive for 15 minutes, letting your squad know you stepped away 😴
When in Sleep Mode, Voice Chat is paused & matchmaking is canceled. This timer can be adjusted under Game ➡️ Sleep Mode & Energy Saving. pic.twitter.com/QmX9dzE24k
