What’s New In The Fortnite Update 4.43 Patch Notes:
Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix: Run It Back with Snoop, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD in Battle Royale!
Welcome to Chapter 2, the Remix. The Island you knew is back, remixed and reimagined, with weekly location and loot drops inspired by the best of early Chapter 2 gameplay and some of the greatest music icons in history. In this time rewind, Snoop D-O-double-G heads up the Agency, the rap god Eminem sets up shop in the Grotto, hip hop princess Ice Spice lays claim to Shark Island, and the remix hits the finale with a celebration and tribute to the legend and icon, Juice WRLD. Push play, turn up the volume, and open up the vault in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 Remix!
Snoop and Ice Spice dropped the mic in a surprise IRL concert just moments ago to kick off the Season. In case you missed the live broadcast, catch the full performance in-game at Risky Reels in the near future 🎤
This season is kicking off with a special, limited-time quest. Jump in once Chapter 2 Remix is live and earn 140K XP from any experience in Fortnite before November 11 at 12 AM ET to unlock the Midas-inspired Golden Scythe Pickaxe!
Drop In Like It’s Hot

The Chapter 2 map is back! Different locales will enter the scene each week as the featured artists make their debuts:
Week 1 (Starts Nov 2) – Snoop Dogg & The Doggpound
The Agency compound is now The Doggpound, the new headquarters and home base for Snoop’s enterprise.
The Doggfather will gift you Snoop’s Drum Gun Mythic if you can defeat him, and will join you as an ally!

This OG’s also the Icon for Fortnite Festival Season 6! You’ll be able to unlock his LBC ‘93 Dogg Outfit by picking up the Music Pass, and you’ll find the Snoop Dogg Outfit in the Shop.
Also in Week 1 – Meowdas at The Yacht & TNTina at the Oil Rig
Meowdas is swole ‘n gold, and whatever he says goes. Pay a visit to The Yacht and take him out to get the Peow Peow Rifle! And Dynamo TNTina is up to no good at the oil rig, she’ll drop the Ka-Boom Bow if you can manage to eliminate her.
Week 2 (Starts Nov 7) – His Name is Slim Shady (at the Grotto)
Abracadabra! Guess who’s back, bruh? Eminem is reaching into his bag of tricks to make a restaurant appear, Mom’s Spaghetti, in the Grotto cave… an area known for its window shoppers and convenient location.
Showed up to Spaghetti Grotto without a reservation? If you can defeat Eminem, he’ll join your cause and bestow you with his Mythic RG Minigun — a lyrical minigun with a rapid-fire flow.
It’s only natural to be inspired after watching Slim in action. Pick up the new Rap Boy Reloaded Outfit when it hits the Shop in Week 2!
Week 3 (Starts Nov 14) – Ice Spice Headlines Shark Island
Grrah. Bow down, because Bronx baddie Ice Spice has dibs on Shark Island, now dubbed Ice Isle! You’ll love her plans for the place: Ice Isle will be a neon-lit, Y2K-dripped abandoned shopping mall with an ominous aura.
Defeat Ice to add her to your team and get Ice Spice’s Grappler and Ice Spice’s Rifle Mythics!
Coming for the crown each match? The Ice Spice Outfit and Rap Princess Ice Spice Outfit, both featuring Benny The Jeweler’s princess necklace, will be in the Shop starting in Week 3.
Week 4 (Starts Nov 21) – Legends Are Forever
It’s not a lucid dream. Draw your eye to the setting sun at the WRLD Point landmark arriving in Week 4.
Also in Week 4 – Remix: The Finale
Chapter 2 Remix is ending on a special note — catch the Remix: The Finale live event on November 30 at 2 PM ET! To honor Juice’s legacy and love for Fortnite, all players who log in between 1 AM ET on November 30 and 1 AM ET on December 1 will receive the cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit*. Stay tuned for more details on celebrating Juice WRLD and Remix: The Finale, later this month.
*The Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit will be available for purchase in the Shop at a later date if you can’t make the event or log in during the applicable window.
Motorboats, Choppas, and the ‘66 Cadillac DeVille
Commandeer Chapter 2’s Motorboats starting now and take to the skies when Choppas come back later in the Season! You’ll find the iconic 1966 Cadillac DeVille around the map all season long — it has hydraulics, bounces to music, and can jump in the air!
Ride low and slow with the Snoop Dogg | Cadillac Bundle which includes the 1966 Snoop Cadillac DeVille Car Body, three Snoop-themed decals, and Snoop Dogg White Wall Wheels — available in the Shop all season long.
Blasts from the Past
The vault is open, with returning items getting added to the loot pool every week! Some of the unvaulted items each week will remain for that week, be available for more than one week, or stay for the rest of the Season. Here’s some of what you can expect:
- Dual Pistols
- Tactical Shotgun
- Pump Shotgun

Introducing Kicks…
The Island isn’t the only thing to be remixed and reimagined. We’re bringing self-expression to a whole new level with the introduction of Kicks (a.k.a. shoes), a new type of cosmetic included as part of the Remix Pass and dropping in the shop on November 12.
The initial lineup of Kicks will feature Nike and Jordan brands alongside Fortnite originals. Look out for other brands to join the lineup in the future! Kicks will be compatible with over 500 of the most popular Fortnite Outfits to start, with more than 95% of Outfits compatible by Spring of next year. While there are a few Outfits that are particularly challenging to style Kicks for, we’re working hard to make sure that as many Outfits as possible can throw on a fresh pair.
Score your first pair of Jordans when they unlock in the Remix Pass on November 12 with v32.10. This is only the beginning for Kicks, more info will hit before they launch in the shop!
Fortnite Original Kicks are not included in the Remix Pass, the first pair will be available in the Shop starting November 12.
…And the Remix Pass!
In addition to Kicks, the Remix Pass comes to Fortnite packed with over 70 new in-game rewards! A shorter Battle Pass than usual, you can unlock all the Pass’ rewards in just four weeks. Grab the Remix Pass for 950 V-Bucks (or included as part of your Fortnite Crew subscription) and earn up to 1,000 V-Bucks by progressing it!
Level up the Remix Pass by earning XP across Fortnite Battle Royale, creator-made islands, LEGO® Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. Here are the nostalgically new Outfits in the Pass:
- Chaos Director (unlocked right away!): Chaos reigns.
- 1-Ball: Sink all the right shots.
- Undercover Skye: She’s got the Guff stuff.
- Meowdas: One classy cat.
- Dynamo TNTina: Strike a match and light the fuse.
Fortnite Reload Desert Drop: New Map & Solos Mode
Battle Royale isn’t the only mode to run it back. Fortnite Reload Desert Drop also arrives on November 2 with the all-new Oasis Map and Solo Ranked + Unranked Modes. Featuring new takes on familiar spots like Paradise Palms, Shifty Shafts, and Lazy Links, you can rift, reboot, and reload solo or with your favorite Duo or Squads starting the same day as Chapter 2 Remix.
Starting November 12 with v32.10 the Reload map will rotate every 30 minutes between Oasis and the original Reload Venture map! When you’re in the lobby queuing up, you’ll be able to see which map is currently live and how much time is left until it swaps.
In Reload Solo, the core rules are the same, but all players have three lives total. When the respawn window closes, each extra life is converted into 50 additional non-regenerative Overshield (up to 100). For Zero Build, this is in addition to the 50 regenerative Overshield that all players have. Getting eliminated when you have no extra lives means getting sent back to the Lobby!
Reload’s loot pool is getting a refresh — here’s the full list of weapons you can expect to find around both maps:
Pistols
- Combat Pistol
- Suppressed Pistol
- Mammoth Pistol
Shotguns
- Auto Shotgun
- Striker Pump Shotgun
- Thunder Pump Shotgun
- Maven Auto Shotgun
- Ranger Shotgun
SMGs
- Stinger SMG
- Combat SMG
- TwinMag SMG
Assault Rifles
- Hammer Assault Rifle
- Ranger Assault Rifle
- Flapjack Rifle
- Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle
Snipers
- Suppressed Sniper Rifle
- Lever Action Rifle
Other
- Rocket Launcher
Locker Improvements
Whether you prefer Battle Royale or another Fortnite experience, we’ve got big news! The v32.00 update (when Chapter 2 Remix goes live) includes improvements to the Locker. Take your fashion combo game to the next level and bundle up Character, Emote, Lobby, Music, Wraps, and Vehicle selections all into one Saved Loadout you can take into different Fortnite experiences.
With all these options to mix and match, it’s only fair you have a lotta loadouts — the number of available category presets and saved loadout will be 200 each! The Locker now displays more of your loadouts at a time, and scroll navigation has been implemented across the Locker to make customizing your look a breeze.
Heads up — randomize/shuffle for saved loadouts will be available soon.
Other Improvements & Fixes
- Controller players can now set a scoped multiplier for aim sensitivity while aiming down sight with scoped weapons.
- Fixed a bug where Left and Right Stick Dead Zones for PlayStation controllers were not registering when set below 12%.
- Human-like Aim Assist has been enabled for hitscan weapons across all game modes.
- Aim assist on controller has been adjusted to be somewhat stronger.
Tournament Notes
Bring on the competition! Check out the Remix competitive details blog post for a rundown of Chapter 2 Remix’s competitive offerings. The weapons not in tournaments this season include (but aren’t limited to):
- Grenades
- Remote Explosives
- Stink Bombs
- Clingers

- Rocket Launcher
- Grenade Launcher
Content Creation – Chapter 2 Remix
Each week Throughout Chapter 2 Remix, content creators in the Support-A-Creator (SAC) program will be able to monetize VODs of Chapter 2 Remix events, gameplay (including music from POIs, Weapons, Contrails, and Gliders – not including music from Emotes and Radio tracks), and trailer/clip content on YouTube for a seven-day period following their initial release. No takedown notifications should occur for this content during this time.
- In order to monetize your Chapter 2 Remix content, you need to link your YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts.
- IMPORTANT: When uploading the content to YouTube, be sure to upload it as Unlisted or Public. If you upload the video as Private, it’s possible you could receive a monetization claim on your video.
- For uploading the content on other platforms, refer to the channel’s platform policies for tips on how to avoid copyright strikes.
- To avoid hearing licensed audio during interactions with other players, make sure to set your “Licensed Audio” setting to “Mute Others” in the Creator Options under the Audio Settings in-game.
Although unlikely, if you do receive a claim on any SAC content, there may be a short delay in YouTube processing the release of the claim. During this time, please do not dispute the claim.
Not in SAC? Don’t worry, you can still share your highlights from the experience. However, you will not be able to monetize this content on YouTube.
Please note: For Twitch creators streaming Chapter 2 Remix, we cannot prevent your VODs or clips from getting flagged by third-party copyright detection systems. The general recommendation is to disable VODs/clips when streaming the experience. For more information, see Twitch’s DMCA & Copyright FAQs help page.
Now that’s a bop. Bounce with us until Chapter 2 Remix ends November 30 at 10 PM ET!
The Stadium Lights Up for Snoop Dogg in Fortnite Festival Season 6!
It’s the Snoop D-O-Double G! With more than 35 million album sales worldwide, Snoop Dogg is one of the biggest rap and hip-hop icons in the world, and now he’s the Icon for Fortnite Festival Season 6.
t’s bumpin’ in here — Season 6 begins November 2 with v32.00 and comes to a close January 14, 2025, at 12 AM ET.
The Festival Pass Becomes the Music Pass
Look right at home and laidback with Snoop Dogg Instruments and the LBC ’93 Dogg Outfit in the Music Pass. You can progress in the Music Pass with XP from any experience in Fortnite that grants XP, not just Festival. This means there are more ways to unlock Instruments, Auras, and more to take to the stage! Check out our Level Up Your Fortnite Passes at the Same Time blog post for more info. The Music Pass, which has a free reward track and a Premium Reward Track upgrade, is available for 1,400 V-Bucks.
Free Rewards
Add some bling to your fancy guitar spins. The Flux Silvera is the final reward of the free reward track, perfectly polished and built for an ever-changing style!
Let’s turn it up a notch: the Music Pass includes four new Jam Tracks!
- Epic Games – “Spies (Marshmello Remix)”
- Epic Games – “Magenta Ride”
- Epic Games – “Larry’s Place”
- Epic Games – “Turn Up”
If you already have the Lobby Track “Turn Up” in your Locker before Fortnite Festival Season 6, you’ll receive a one-time V-Bucks grant equivalent to the amount you paid for it, as well as the Jam Track version.
What’s a Dogg without his diamonds? Let ‘em see you shine with the Diamond Dazzle Aura and start fireworks onstage with the Grand Finale Aura. Surely not a fire hazard, right?
If you thought fireworks were flashy enough, teach the Dogg some new tricks with the Stand Surfer Emote. You don’t need a mic drop when you can ride the mic stand instead!
Premium Rewards
Pick up the Music Pass for 1,400 V-Bucks to access Snoop Dogg-themed Instruments and other unlockable rewards! You’ll automatically get the LBC ’93 Dogg Outfit when you purchase the Music Pass, bringing the West Coast vibes to the Main Stage, Jam Stage, and Battle Stage! Of course, you can let the Dogg loose and use this Outfit in some other Fortnite experiences too!
Be the boss with the Masterpiece Mic, deliver a funk-infused flow with the G-Funk ‘93 Guitar, or lay down some paradiddles with the Top Dogg Drum Kit, the final Premium reward in the Pass.
As for the music, the Fortnite Festival stage crew is throwing it back with fresh beats from some of the biggest names in hip-hop. You can unlock “Young, Wild & Free” by Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and Bruno Mars as a Jam Track near the end of the Music Pass.
Look out for these other Jam Tracks as Premium Rewards:
- Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em – “Crank That (Soulja Boy)”
- Big Sean – “Bounce Back”
- Juice WRLD – “Robbery”
Please note! 🎵 The Music Pass rewards (including the LBC ‘93 Dogg Outfit) are not exclusive to the Pass, as they may become purchasable in the Shop at a later date.
More Snoop Surprises Await in the Shop!
LBC ‘93 Dogg isn’t the only Snoop in town! The Snoop Dogg Outfit will be in the Shop for the entire Season, and includes the option to literally make his head a dog’s. The Outfit comes with the Dogg House Back Bling!

Competitive Details: Make Your Mark in Chapter 2 Remix!
Think you’ve got what it takes to rise to the top? Rank up and then test your mettle in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix, which features not one, not two, but seven tournament series to compete in—with a combined prize pool of over $1,000,000!
Explaining Fortnite’s Ranked Modes
Eager to jump into the competition? The battle begins in Ranked modes! Here’s a quick reminder on how these work for those new to Fortnite’s competitive scene.
Fortnite’s Ranked modes give all players a rank based on their performance—the better you play, the higher your rank! A series of initial placement matches must be completed to establish your rank. At the end of a Battle Royale season, ranks are reset for all players, and placement matches must be completed again to redetermine where you sit on the ranked ladder.
Your current rank determines which tournaments you are allowed to participate in, with players ranked Gold or above eligible to compete for cash prizes. Placed in Silver or below? You can still participate in tournaments, such as Ranked Cups, with other players in your same skill group.
Tournament Series: Chapter 2 Remix
There are seven different tournament series to participate in Chapter 2 Remix. Below is a summary of each tournament and details on the rank requirements of each.
| Rank Requirements | |
| Trios Cash Cups | Gold I or above in Battle Royale, Zero Build, Reload, or Zero Build Reload. |
| Solo Victory Cups | |
| Reload Duos Cash Cups | |
| Reload Squads Cash Cups |
|
| Ranked Cups – Battle Royale | Players are divided into one of three bands based on their rank: Band 1 (Bronze, Silver, and Gold), Band 2 (Platinum and Diamond), and Band 3 (Elite I and above). |
| Ranked Cups – Zero Build |
Players are divided into one of two bands based on their rank: Band 1 (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) or Band 2 (Platinum I and above). |
| Performance Evaluations | By invitation only for the top teams in EU and NA from the FNCS Major 3. |
Ranked Cups
Looking to ease your way into tournaments? Ranked Cups are a good place to start. You’ll be matched up with players of a similar rank and given four hours to register your best four games. It’s up to you how many games you want to complete to lock in your score.
There will be 12 Ranked Cups held throughout this season, comprising three Battle Royale Solo tournaments, three Battle Royale Duos tournaments, three Zero Build Solo tournaments, and three Zero Build Duos tournaments. Manage to score at least 50 points during any of these, and you’ll unlock the Remix Ranker Glider!
Trios Cash Cups
With Trios announced as the format for Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) 2025, this season’s Cash Cups be Trios! Trios Cash Cups is designed for Fortnite’s top performing players, and as such, is where you can win the biggest cash prizes.
There’ll be nine Trios Cash Cups this season (six Battle Royale and three Zero Build), each consisting of two rounds. The first Trios Cash Cups begin on November 6, with 33 teams from the first round progressing to the second round held the following day. Emerge victorious in any of the NA and EU Battle Royale tournaments, and your team will win a $9,000 prize!
Solo Victory Cups
If you’re more of a lone wolf, then the Solo Victory Cups are your proving grounds and chance to win cash prizes!
Each of this season’s eight Solo Victory Cups (four for Battle Royale and four for Zero Build) are divided into two rounds. Perform well in the first round to qualify for the second round, where you’ll be able to play three more games — win one, and you’ll be awarded a $100 prize!
Performance Evaluations
Performance Evaluations are a series of multiple-round tournaments designed to test newly-launched builds. However, just because they’re a test doesn’t mean you shouldn’t bring your A-game, as cash prizes are on the line! Each Performance Evaluation tournament has a prize pot of $3,200, with the spoils divided between the best-performing players.
There will be ten Performance Evaluations this season, consisting of five Battle Royale tournaments in Europe and five Reload tournaments in North America.
Reload Duos Cash Cups
Lock and Reload! There’ll be three Reload Duos Cash Cups this season, each consisting of one round. Players will face off on the newest Reload Map: Oasis, complete with a refreshed Loot Pool. Read more about Reload’s Desert Drop update in the Chapter 2 Remix blog here.
Reload Squads Cash Cups
Gather your friends and assemble a team for Reload Squads Cash Cups! There will be three Reload Squads Cash Cups during the Chapter 2 Remix season, each of which will be a single-round cup consisting of seven matches. The top 10 teams in each region will win cash prizes, with the first-place teams in Europe and North America taking home $4,000 each, and $1,500 in all other regions.
