Epic Games has released Fortnite update version 4.36, and this is for the v31.10 title update that includes fixes, new skins for the Marvel crossover event that kicked off last month and more! Alongside that, expect a host of datamined items to be listed as well from reliable leakers to be in the list.

All Will Fall Before Doom’s Chosen!

Nothing can withstand Doom’s power. From now until October 5 at 1:30 PM ET, there’s a small chance for the Isle of Doom to appear in place of Loot Island. In the center lies Doom’s Cauldron — capture it and Victor Von Doom will deem you, or one of your squadmates, worthy to wield its formidable might. After transforming into Doom’s Chosen, you’ll gain access to an arsenal of superpowered sorcery:

  • Supercharge your Health and Shield to 500 each! Eliminations grant Shield Siphon as well.
  • Decimate your foes with a multishot Arcane Barrage, tear through structures with the devastating Scorch Beam, and charge up the Mystical Gigabomb to annihilate those who refuse to kneel.
  • Mastery over magic means you can leap into the sky, fire from above, and then launch back down with a devastating Dive Kick!
  • Hunt down those who try to flee with Unlimited Sprint!

Do Doom’s Will in These New Quests

Starting today, all players can find Doom’s 12 Quests in the “Quests” tab, including objectives like hitting opponents with Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets, claiming Avengers’ gear, and defending Latverian locations. Completing a specific number of these Quests will get you a reward straight from the vaults of Castle Doom:

  • Complete 4 Quests – Doom Banner Icon
  • Complete 6 Quests – The Doctor Is In Spray
  • Complete 8 Quests – Doom’s Power Emoticon
  • Complete 10 Quests – Pandora’s Armor Doom Loading Screen

Doom is absolute…ly deserving of more rewards! If you own the Absolute Doom Battle Pass, you’ll earn a reward each time you complete one of Doom’s Quests, including his full villainous ensemble:

  • Complete 1 Quest – Doom Loading Screen
  • Complete 2 Quests – Doom Cloak Back Bling
  • Complete 3 Quests – Glory to Latveria Wrap
  • Complete 4 Quests – The Doomblade Pickaxe
  • Complete 5 Quests – Fist of Doom Glider
  • Complete 6 Quests – Doom Outfit
  • Complete 7 Quests – Pandora’s Fist of Doom Glider
  • Complete 8 Quests – Latverian Monarch Decor Bundle
  • Complete 9 Quests – Pandora Doomblade Pickaxe
  • Complete 10 Quests – Doom’s Pandora Cloak
  • Complete 11 Quests – Doom’s Domain Emote
  • Complete 12 Quests – Pandora’s Armor Doom Outfit

No man, monster, or brick may stand before Doom. Completing eight of Doom’s Quests unlocks the Latverian Monarch Decor Bundle with 38 decorations that’ll turn even the quaintest home into a home befitting Latverian royalty.

The list of new content and gameplay fixes have not been revealed yet, but we do have the list of known issues being looked at by the dev team, and this includes confirmed fixes incoming with this patch (via the official Fortnite Trello board). In addition to that, Fortnite dataminer Hypex has outlined what players should expect today:

  • FREE “Sir Beurre” Backbling
  • FULL Dr Doom Rewards Reveal
  • New Cosmetics, Collabs & Super Styles
  • More Marvel “Heroes & Villains” LTMs Leaks
  • New Mythic: Shuri’s Claws OR Iron Man’s Mythic
  • Possible Unvaults in Battle Royale and/or Reload

Issues Fixed in Today’s Title Update:

  • Shield Bash effect may persist even if the Shield is currently not equipped.
  • Werewolf and Diestro Black Painted Car Bodies are not currently cross-granting from Fortnite into Rocket League for owners of these Car Bodies
  • McLaren 765LT Painted Wheel variants are not currently cross-granting from Fortnite into Rocket League for owners of this Car Body

GENERAL TOP ISSUES:

In Development:

  • Videos in the Lobby playing with every launch on Amazon Luna.
  • Built-In Emotes do not play in Creative / UEFN Experiences.

Investigating:

  • Players cannot close the emote wheel without selecting an emote

Fixed in Future Game Update:

  • “Stand and Fight” not playing.
  • Unintended loud noise when driving Beskar.
  • Emma Frost has the wrong shoe type sound.

BATTLE ROYALE TOP ISSUES:

Important:

  • Champion’s Road quests that say ‘in a Party’ require a Friend be in the party.

Investigating:

  • Players may get stuck in “Toggle Walk” mode at times.
  • Back Bling Beacon Glass displaying incorrectly in the Locker

In Development:

  • The setting ‘Lock Input Method as Mouse’ is not working correctly

Fixed in Next Game Update:

  • Shield Bash effect may persist even if the Shield is currently not equipped.

Fixed in Future Game Update:

  • War Machine’s Hover Jets may not be activated with custom controls.

LEGO FORTNITE TOP ISSUES:

In Development:

  • Consumable buff timers can be overwritten when eating another consumable with a buff
  • Dynamic Structure parts may displace and shift when moving fast
  • There is no indication of which direction some furniture is being placed
  • The Swag Shot emote is not correctly translating on the Chalk Board
  • Lil’ Monster Emote is not working
  • Cleared areas in the Rebel Outpost don’t complete

Investigating:

  • Villagers exploring with players may destroy structures while trying to harvest.

Fixed in Future Game Update:

  • Bottom of HUD can disappear after using macrobinoculars.
  • Some animals tamed before the v30.40 update are not leaving their barns
  • Brutes and other enemies may spawn close to Villages.

LEGO FORTNITE TOP ISSUES:

In Development:

  • There is no indication of which direction some furniture is being placed
  • The Swag Shot emote is not correctly translating on the Chalk Board
  • Lil’ Monster Emote is not working
  • Cleared areas in the Rebel Outpost don’t complete

Fixed in Future Game Update:

  • Bottom of HUD can disappear after using macrobinoculars.
  • Some animals tamed before the v30.40 update are not leaving their barns
  • Brutes and other enemies may spawn close to Villages.

ROCKET RACING TOP ISSUES:

In Development:

  • Locker’s Vehicles – SUV/Truck and Sports Cars sections changes to a different background color when navigating through the cosmetics options
  • Vehicle appears blurry at start of race
  • During matchmaking, players may not load into a match if they back out while downloading additional content, and then try to requeue.

Fixed in Next Game Update:

  • Werewolf and Diestro Black Painted Car Bodies are not currently cross-granting from Fortnite into Rocket League for owners of these Car Bodies
  • McLaren 765LT Painted Wheel variants are not currently cross-granting from Fortnite into Rocket League for owners of this Car Body
