Gran Turismo 7 New Update 1.690 Released for April Content Drop

Gran Turismo 7 New Update 1.690

Polyphony Digital has released Gran Turismo 7 update 1.690 (1.69 on PS4), and this is the game’s big April patch that ushers in new cars, and more.

There are three new cars added this month,, new events added in World Circuits and more.

GT7 April 2026 Update Adds Three New Cars

Main Features

1. Cars
 - The following three cars join the lineup:
・Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (964) ’93 (sold at the Legend Cars dealership)
・Renault Twingo ’93 (sold at the Used Cars dealership)
・Yangwang U9 ’24 (sold in Brand Central)

2. World Circuits
– The following new events make their debut in World Circuits:
・Autodromo de Interlagos
– World Touring Car 900
・Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
– Schwarzwald League
・Yas Marina Circuit
– Hypercar Parade

– “Circuit Experience” has been added to the following tracks:
・Nürburgring Endurance II


3. Brand Central
– A new Channel and Museum section for Yangwang is now available for Asia-Pacific (China).

4. Café
– The following Extra Menu is now featured.
・Extra Menu No. 53: ‘Collection: Muscle Cars’ (Collector Level 55 and above);

– There are new sets of conversations with the Car Designers and Characters appearing in the Café. These new conversations can be accessed by changing to the following cars in Garage and speaking with the Characters in the Café:

– Mr. Fabio Filippini
・Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (964) ’93

CHARACTERS
– Stella
・Renault Twingo ’93
・Yangwang U9 ’24

– A new Seasonal Menu is now available, allowing players to collect different cars each season to unlock additional rewards. The Seasonal Menu becomes accessible after clearing Menu Book No. 39 (Championship: World GT Series) and viewing the ending.

5. GT Auto
– Car Maintenance & Service
Engine Swaps are now available for the following cars (unlocked at Collector Level 50):
・Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce ’67
・Ford Focus ST ’15
・Lexus LFA ’10
・McLaren 650S ’14
・Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (964) ’93
・Renault Kangoo 1.4 ’01
・Renault Megane R.S. Trophy ’11
・Renault R4 GTL ’85
・Renault Twingo ’93
・Volkswagen Scirocco R ’10

6. Scapes
– “Move the Camera Up and Down III”’ is now featured as a Scapes Curation.

7. Power Pack
– Power Pack Challenges are now available. In this mode, players earn a variety of rewards based on the number of races completed within a set period. Please note the Power Pack is a paid DLC available exclusively for the PlayStation®5 version of Gran Turismo 7.

Other Improvements and Adjustments

1. Cars
– Interior and exterior issues on the following car have been resolved:
・Mazda ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) ’91
 - Exterior issues, along with the initial camera position in the Livery Editor, have been corrected on the following car:
・NISMO 400R ’95

2. Physics Simulation Model
– The handling of the power restrictor when fitted to the following cars has been adjusted:
・Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept ’25
・Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo
・Škoda Vision Gran Turismo

3. Power Pack
– It is now possible to use Garage cars.
– Race difficult has been adjusted.
– The start type has been changed on certain races.

(Please note the Power Pack is a paid DLC only available for the PlayStation®5 version of Gran Turismo 7.)

4. Localisation
– Various text localisation issues have been addressed.

5. Others
– Additional minor issues have been resolved.

Expect another update to be released in late May, which will once again add a slew of new cars and more.
