  • A player in critical condition can now hold down any button to speed up recovery. Recovery reminder text will now be displayed as well.
  • Reduced the time needed to pick up a throwable object.
  • Characters in mid-air can now activate their Skybound Arts to join a chain burst. Additionally, SBAs can now be activated whenever dodging is possible.
  • To account for temporarily losing control of your character during cutscenes like SBAs, upon regaining control, perfect inputs are now momentarily easier to perform.

  • The camera will now follow the lock-on cursor when switching between targets.
  • While locked on to a target, the cursor will now stay locked on to that target even when opening and closing Communication Tools.
  • When two or more foes are all within range for a chain chance, the camera will no longer attempt to focus on an individual foe.
This is to prevent unintended camera movement.
  • Adjusted the behavior of the map button to prevent inadvertently opening the map when activating a Skybound Art.
Now, while the left stick is held down, holding down the right stick won’t open the map.

  • Adjusted how damage is calculated for buffs (such as ATK↑) and debuffs (such as DEF↓). Before the adjustment, upon exceeding a certain PWR, any extra damage provided by status effects would be lost once the damage cap was reached. After the adjustment, that damage is no longer affected by damage cap and is dealt based on the new calculation method instead.
  • Certain status effects related to damage dealt (such as ATK↑) and damage taken (such as DEF↓) are now stackable, meaning the same effect can be placed on a target multiple times. Stackable effects are applied as single, additive effects.
  • As a result of adjustments made to status effect calculations and stacking, status effect values that were no longer influenced by damage cap became too strong relative to their previous values.
To ensure that skills maintain the same balance as before, the strength of the following skill status effects have been reduced.
Character Skills
Captain (Gran/Djeeta) Rage (ATK↑)/Armor Break (DEF↓) /Miserable Mist (DEF↓)

・Increased the power of Skybound Art’s initial attack.
・Lowered the power of Fourfold Vengeance.
This adjustment was made to account for the addition of master traits to Endless Ragnarok.
・Atonement can now intercept attacks that can’t be guarded.

There are a lot more changes implemented, and I suggest checking out Cygames’ blog about if you want to know more.

With this amount of changes, don’t be surprised to see a hotfix be released to resolve any bugs or gameplay glitches that surface.
