Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Update 2.11 Adds Galleon to the Roster

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Update 2.11 has now begun rolling out, and those wanting some new DLC to play will be happy to know that this is a major update adding a whole new character.

Introducing Galleon, the first character of the Season 2 Pass.

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Update 2.11 Patch Notes

New DLC Character

  • Galleon has been added as a playable character.
  • Galleon has been added as a Premium Avatar.
  • A music track, weapon skins, badges, trophies, card design, sticker, weapon cutout, Figure Studio poses and expressions, and crew icon for Galleon have been added.
    • Galleon must be unlocked as a playable character to access these features (except stickers and crew icons).
  • Galleon has been added to the Rupie Shop under Special Content.
    • Purchases made via the Special Content tab do not come with a bonus serial code.
  • (PS5/PS4 only) Galleon Purchase Bonus has been added to the Serial Codes screen in the Options menu.

Main Menu

  • A quick menu has been added to the main menu.

Players can swap between the main menu and the quick menu at anytime.

Players can add their favorite game modes to the quick menu so they can easily access the features they use most. The background image for the quick menu can be set to any image that has been unlocked in the journal.

Online Lobby

  • Added the option to play in Training Mode while waiting for an opponent.

Players can now access Training Mode from any of the standby stations in the online lobby.

Replays

  • Added Opponent Character as a filter option.
  • Added a filter option for Custom Versus Rank Range under Character Versus Rank Display, giving players the option to filter replays by specific characters and Versus ranks.

Profile

  • Added the option to view unlock requirements of unobtained trophies, badges, and card designs on the Edit Profile Card menu.
  • Added an Edit Multiple Characters option to the Edit Profile Card menu so players can edit multiple characters’ trophies, badges, and card designs at the same time.
  • Added the option to directly remove profile badges from the Edit Profile Card menu.
    • Free Edition players cannot remove the default Free Edition badge from their profile.
  • Added the option to view all characters’ Versus ranks from the Ranked Match Records tab.
  • A notification will now display on the main menu upon unlocking new trophies, badges, card designs, and character illustrations.

  • Character color no. 22 for 5 characters, originally obtainable from Battle Pass Round 3

Character Illustrations

Training Mode

  • Punish Training has been added to the Training menu.

This feature allows players to practice punishes against particular skills and matchups without having to manually use the record function to set up training situations.

– The recommended punish may not work for all characters.

– New punishes are planned to be added in subsequent updates.

Ranked Matches

  • The ranked match point system has been reworked. Please see this announcement for more details.

Grand Bruise!

  • Grand Bruise! points have been added. Players can collect points to unlock new rewards.
  • Various new items have been added as Grand Bruise! point rewards.

Bug Fixes and Other Changes

  • Fixed an issue where a pop-up message displayed incorrect story mode rewards after transferring save data from the previous game, Granblue Fantasy: Versus.
  • (Steam only) Fixed an issue where reporting a player directly from their profile card would sometimes cause the game to become unresponsive.
  • (PlayStation®4/PlayStation®5 only; German only) Fixed an issue where the Versusia Purchase Bonus Serial Code on the Serial Codes screen would mistakenly display as 2B Purchase Bonus Serial Code.
  • (PlayStation®5 only) Fixed an issue where some star character badges would be lost upon transferring save data from the PlayStation®4 version to the PlayStation®5 version.
  • Fixed an issue in the Free Edition where players would be able to set DLC characters they didn’t have access to as star characters on their profile if they played an online match as a DLC character while not having a star character set on their profile.
  • Fixed an issue in training mode where players couldn’t access the Combo Practice menu while on standby for an online match when playing ranked matches for the first time.
  • (Steam only) Fixed an issue in the guest book and crew guest book where attempting to move the cursor from the comment section to the original poster would forcibly move the cursor back to the comment section.
  • (Steam only) Fixed an issue in SHARK TO GLORY where repeatedly pushing the pause button would sometimes cause the pop-up message to display incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue in SHARK TO GLORY where enemy HP would sometimes increase if players restarted anywhere other than at the beginning of a stage.
  • Fixed an issue in Grand Bruise! where some walls in Rising Royale (final stage version) didn’t have hurt boxes, causing the sword to not be able to hit them sometimes.
  • Fixed an issue in Grand Bruise! where using the staff on certain terrains in Rising Royale would cause players to get stuck.
  • (PlayStation®5 only) Fixed an issue where the online lobby theater’s screen was clipped on the right-hand side.
  • Fixed an issue in the online lobby where some standby stations were slightly out of line from the rest.
  • Fixed an issue in the online lobby where the Yukichi avatar would play sounds at close range volume even when at long distances.
  • (Steam only)Fixed an issue on the Saved Replays and Replay Boards tabs where inputting certain buttons and then switching tabs would cause the game to become unresponsive.
  • (Steam only; Japanese only) Fixed an issue on the Saved Replays tab where attempting to rename a replay using hiragana, katakana, or full-width alphanumeric characters would cause it to fail.
  • (Steam only) Fixed in issue in the figure studio where some frames would obscure the mode settings display.
  • Fixed an issue in the figure studio where some of Belial’s weapons had differing names from his weapon skins.
