Milestone has released the Hot Wheels Unleashed update 1.17 (PS5 version 1.018) today to finally add cross platform play. This means PlayStation and Xbox gamers can finally play one another online. Check out the full Hot Wheels Unleashed July 19 patch notes below.

PS4 EU/USA Version 01.017 – PS5 EU/USA Version 01.018 – Xone/XSX Version 1.0.0.21 – PC Steam – PC Epic.
- Added support for cross platform play.
- Players from Sony and Microsoft consoles will now be able to play online matches together and to share their tracks and liveries among those platforms.
The last update gave support for the Looney Tunes DLC expansion that came out last week. You can read more on the new DLC below.
“The Looney Tunes Expansion animates the competition with five new vehicles, a themed Track Builder Module, themed customization items for the Basement and the Player’s Profile, and the Looney Tunes Adventure Park environment, where players can relive the hilarious adventures of the classic animated franchise. The Looney Tunes Adventure Park is divided into four themed areas, including the iconic desert set of Wile E. Coyote’s epic fails.”
