Lords of the Fallen New Update 1.109 Released on June 25 Fixes Community Issues
CI Games has released a new hotfix for Lords of the Fallen, and this is for version 2.5.490, available for download now on all platforms.
Given that content support for the game has ended, and the developers are knee-deep in development of the sequel, don’t expect any new content, though there are bug fixes.
Console gamers will see this as Lords of the Fallen update 1.109, and this is a small download that sorts out community-reported issues.
Lords of the Fallen Hotfix Addresses PvP Armor Set Exploit
Fixed an issue causing the Adyr’s Vengeance spell to deal more damage than intended.
The spell Adyr’s Vengeance was likely dealing damage above its intended values due to a bug. This could have been caused by:
- Incorrect damage scaling.
- Damage bonuses being applied multiple times.
- A calculation error that made the spell stronger than designed.
The fix brings the spell back in line with the developers’ intended balance.
Fixed a case where PvP Armour Sets could be duplicated when moved into Storage.
There was an inventory exploit that allowed players to create extra copies of PvP armor sets by transferring them to Storage. The game wasn’t correctly handling the transfer, resulting in duplicated items.
The fix ensures:
- Armor is properly removed from its original location when stored.
- No additional copies are created.
- Players can no longer use this method to duplicate PvP gear.
Fixed a crash while syncing save files during Shared Co-op.
Players could experience a game crash while the game was synchronizing progress between co-op participants.
This likely happened when:
- A player joined or left a Shared Co-op session.
- The game was updating character progression, inventory, quest progress, or world state.
- Save data synchronization encountered an error, causing the game to crash.
The fix improves stability during Shared Co-op save synchronization, reducing the chance of crashes and potential progress loss.
That’s about it. Don’t expect any new content, as the developers are putting all effort into the sequel. Speaking of which, this sequel’s release has been pushed to early 2027 to avoid a crowded Q4 release window.
