This is called Hotfix 286, and as one might expect, was released to fix something that wasn’t caught by yesterday’s patch.

We’ve promptly reverted this change and released an updated version to prevent further occurrences. Give me my damn chunks back you assholes!
i couldnt have said it better myself. i was all over this on steam and reddit yesterday/ 2 TWO pietas both chunked to level 5. GONE. now i only have 1 chunk avail after doing my catalyst. this is bs. oh sure they “lowered the cost to 150 pvp credits to buy them… who can earn that against people with lv 10 weapons in a reasonable time frame?
please make a quick swap option between catalysts and throwables/ bows… you have to open a menu and scroll to the catalyst or bow, select it and then close the screen all the while being attacked during this process. i want to shoot an arrow, throw a spell back and forth… heal and throw a grenade.. this would be a great quality of life option
A great idea would be to make it so catalyst can be equipped in offhand, and can be used with guard perhaps? Removes block, making it higher risk but adds far more utility/versatility while maintaining balance.
That’s called hard swapping it’s been in every single souls like and souls game everyone has done nothing but complain and ci being the company they are they actually listen to us and making changes accordingly and that’s good and all but just like last time people where complaining about enemy density when it’s a souls like game its supposed to hard and they made the game easier because everyone complained about it not trying to jump everyone’s butt but im running through the game like a hot knife through butter now when i was getting my teeth kicked in
You need macro 😀
