Lost Soul Aside New Update 1.008 Fixes Issues in Various Chapters and Improves Combat Experience
Ultizero Games has released the third patch for Lost Soul Aside on PS5 and PC in a span of 10 days, and this is another update that aims to resolve various issues and even improve the combat experience.
Both PS5 and PC gamers will see the patch released as Lost Soul Aside update 1.008, and fixes issues in Chapter 1, Chapter 2 and Chapter 4, while also slotting in combat experience improvements by adjusting weapons and other factors.

Lost Soul Aside Gets New Update on Sept. 16 to Fix Story-Related Issues
PS5 & PC – Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in Nightmare Difficulty Chapter 4: Entropis Dimension where certain mechanics might not trigger correctly during a specific boss battle.
- Fixed an issue where loading a save in specific locations of Chapter 1: Chronocore Dimension could cause Kaser to fall out of the map.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 4: Redstone Mines where Kaser’s position could shift significantly after a cutscene.
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 2: Skycrest Badlands where Gethya’s hair and glasses might not display properly in certain scenes.
PS5 & PC – Gameplay Optimizations
- Adjusted the damage values of Poleblade, optimized combat experiences.
- Optimized the trigger frequency of Arena’s free talk dialogue to enhance gameplay experience.
- Adjusted Drogo’s damage stats for better game balance.
- Adjusted the time window for Greatsword’s Burst Pursuit, improving combat experience.
PC-Specific Fix
- Fixed a performance issue occurring on specific CPUs.

PS5 & PC – Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Vesper could occasionally behave abnormally during Phase 2 of the fight.
- Fixed a few abnormal behavior or voice lines for Liana under certain conditions.
- Fixed some abnormal behavior for specific NPCs in the Imperial Capital – Harbor area in the Interlude chapters.
PS5 & PC – Gameplay Optimizations
- Enhanced the hit sound effects for weapons and monsters.
- Adjusted the trigger distance for dialogue interactions to enhance gameplay flow.
- Updated the credits.
- Optimized models and animations for select NPCs.
- Improved the landing animation for Kaser when descending from the air, making it easier to predict the landing position.
PC-Specific Optimization
- Mouse side buttons can now be assigned in the key rebinding menu for more flexible control customization
