Madden NFL 26 Update 1.018 Released on May 27
Electronic Arts has released Madden NFL 26 update 1.018 on all platforms on May 27, and given the game’s lifecycle, don’t expect much from it outside of fixes.
For more info on the bugs that remain, and what the community is still griping about throughout the months of release, read on.
Madden NFL 26 New Update on May 27 Is Another Minor Patch
As expected, EA has not released any patch notes, though we do have the list of known issues reported by members of the community.
If you’re experiencing an issue or two, check if it’s part of the list below.
- Season 9 XP tokens not working
- Madden incorrectly recording record stats
- Quick Play Superbowl Bears vs Bears stuck on loading
- Crashing issue
- Injury Report stuck on screen
- When safety scored, doesn’t reflect in Scoring Summary
- Franchise Player/CPU Sliders Have No Effect
- Superstar mode broken
- Madden Ultimate Team Playoff Chemistries not working
- Franchise Mode: Audio issues in presentation of primetime games
- Rushing record breaker, and Running record breaker, not popping
- MUT 26 Head to Head ranked error
Needless to say, there are more bugs than what’s listed, but these are the most recent ones. Unfortunately, we’re unsure whether EA will patch these out or not, as is the case with aging sports titles, the dev team have probably moved on to the next iteration. Unless it’s a bug affecting microtransactions or literally makes the game unplayable, don’t expect any updates to resolve said issues right away.
If you’re looking for something new to play, the PSN Store Days of Play promotion has kicked off today, and we have the complete list of discounts and even a curated list.
