Mario Kart 8 Update 2.4.0 Drifts Out This July 11 for DLC Support
As previously announced, Nintendo has started rolling out Mario Kart 8 Update 2.4.0 for July 11, which adds support for the new Deluxe Wave 5 DLC. Read on for the official MK8 new update patch notes.

Now supports paid DLC: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, Wave 5 (two cups, eight courses, and three characters).
Additionally, here’s a breakdown of what’s included in this DLC pack:

To play the DLC, you must purchase (£22.49/$24.99) the Booster Course Pass, which includes the previous four Wave DLC. It’s also included in the Nintendo Online + Expansion Pack, which will run you $10 monthly.
