New Additions and Optimizations
All Platforms
1. Reduced the long-press time needed to switch heroes in controller mode from 1 second to 0.5 seconds.
2. FPS Cap feature now offers custom settings.
PC
1. Improved shader preloading speed for multi-threaded CPUs.
2. Added automatic shader preloading reinitialization when your local GPU shader cache becomes invalid.
Latest Fixes
All Platforms
1. Fixed an issue where the Cloak & Dagger – Polarity Bond Nameplate was not dynamic.
2. Resolved a problem that sometimes prevented Ultimate Ability voice lines from playing during replays.
3. Fixed a bug where previous costume-exclusive audio settings could cause the costume audio settings feature to malfunction in the new version.
4. Fixed a glitch where, after changing join permissions in a Custom Game, other rooms could use a duplicate name.
Maps and Modes
1. Fixed various terrain bugs that could trap heroes, cause clipping, or send you to strange places no hero should go.
Heroes
1. Blade’s Daywalker Double-Take: We’ve sharpened his technique as sometimes, quickly unleashing his Ultimate Ability after performing Daywalker Dash could cause the follow-up animation to overlap with the ultimate. Now Blade’s combos slice through the night, no more cinematic mix-ups!
2. Blade’s Stunned by the Sun: Using Daywalker Dash and Bloodline Awakening simultaneously and being stunned at the dash’s instant could cause Blade to bug out. Talk about a bad day for a daywalker! He’s now back to his unstoppable best, no more daylight drama.
3. Blade’s Dash of Discipline: The cleaving strike follow-up to Daywalker Dash didn’t correctly display the Slow effect on enemies. Now you’ll see his enemies feel the chill after every slash!
4. Hulk’s Gamma Portal Glitch: Transforming from Bruce Banner into Hero Hulk while going through a portal could warp his look more than a run-in with the Leader. Hulk’s textures now stay Hulked out!
5. Groot’s Blossoming Beautification: Groot’s Wild Wall wasn’t syncing up with some of his costume. Now, every bloom is Groot-approved, no matter the style!
6. Star-Lord’s Space Out: Placing a Network Leapspider teleport in certain tricky spots could send Star-Lord on an unintended trip outside the map! Peter Quill’s boots are back on solid ground, no more accidental galactic detours!Console
1. Fixed a rare issue where XBOX users’ Lord proficiency avatars displayed incorrectly. Now your hero rep shines as it should!
Marvel Rivals Aug. 21 Hero Balance Adjustments
DUELIST
Blade
The Daywalker’s resilience just slightly leveled up. Blade’s got more staying power for those midnight brawls!
- Increase Lifesteal gained during Bloodline Awakening from 60% to 65%. Reduce self-healing reduction from 40% to 35%.
Human Torch
Johnny Storm’s heat is still on, but his flame’s been dialed back just enough for ground heroes to catch their breath!
- Reduce Flame Field (right-click on terrain) Damage Over Time from 25/s to 20/s.
- Reduce Pyro-Prison Damage Over Time from 50/s to 40/s.
STRATEGIST
Loki
The God of Mischief and his illusions are a tad less punishing!
- Reduce Mystical Missile damage dealt by Loki and his illusions to enemies from 30 to 25. (Healing for teammates remains unchanged.)
