Metaphor ReFantazio Update 1.013 Adds New Subtitles

ATLUS has released a new Metaphor ReFantazio update on consoles and PC, and it’s a minor patch. Console players will see this as Metaphor ReFantazio update 1.013, and this adds a new subtitle option to the game.

If you’re still playing on PS4, Xbox One, this will show up as Metaphor ReFantazio update version 1.13, and includes the same changelog as its current-gen versions.

Metaphor ReFantazio’s Latest Patch

The announcement from ATLUS reads, “Hola Metaphor fans, LATAM Spanish subtitles are now available for Metaphor: ReFantazio! We’re delighted to bring this support for our Latin American audience and hope even more players can now experience this adventure.”

We did get a patch in January of this year that ushered in a good load of fixes, which we’ve included for reference:

Fixes

Common to all platforms

• The main menu and EQUIP screen can now be used to change lineups and swap party members.
• Cursor category jump operation has been added at specific locations in the main menu and ITEM screen.
• Fixed a bug that caused the game to become inoperable when certain operations were performed in the main menu.
• Other minor fixes

Common to both Windows and Steam versions

• Analog stick controls for the character and cursor have been adjusted.
• Fixed a bug that slowed down the camera movement when using the mouse in some cases.
• Fixed an issue where the frame rate was fixed for certain operations.
• Fixed a bug in which certain operations would cause the player to lose progress during command battles.
• Fixed a bug in which certain operations in Magura’s Hole would cause the game to become inoperable.
• Fixed a bug in which controller input would not be accepted under certain conditions in Windows 11

That’s about it. If you’re looking for more ATLUS RPGs to play, Sony has recently kicked off its “Multiverse of Games” promotion on the PlayStation Strore, and it houses a ton of Persona games on sale.
