Mina the Hollower Version 1.0.5 Released for Fixes via Update 1.003

Mina the Hollower update 1.003

Yacht Club Games has released a hotfix for Mina the Hollower for version 1.0.5. It’s now live on consoles too, and will show up as update 1.003.

Expect a slew of fixes, and no new content in this title update.

Mina the Hollower Updated to Version 1.003

Here are the fixes in today’s title update:

  • Fix: Could get stuck when catching an object the same frame as beginning a room transition
  • Fix: Pinky throwing Mina in wall
  • Fix: Invisible key sign in Ossex
  • Fix: Bat not charging sometimes
  • Fix: Gator out of bounds
  • Fix: Tomato farmer and Abbot displayed the wrong anim during screen transitions
  • Fix: Spark is stuck inside a burrow wall ejection
  • Fix: Shrank box used for spark collision ejection so it would no longer eject when just barely inside collision
  • Fix: Spark would snap position when entering a room via a burrow wall warp
  • Fix: Spark no longer tries to do a collision eject if overlapping a chest, snowball, or other breakable/movable object
  • Fix: Weapon brother boss rock attack fixed
  • Fix: Portrait contents would spawn in a wall if you killed the portrait and then left/returned
  • Fix: OOB Issue
  • Fix: Kraken/Final boss process feats properly
  • Fix: Reduced vertical requirement for Sniper Dagger featFix: Bellow bustles can no longer chain burrow (broken in 1.05)

Given how consoles usually get slower patches than their PC counterparts, chances are high that Yacht Club included the previous fixes to the console versions. For reference, we’ve included the list of fixes for these as well.

  • Fix: Item Randomizer options crash
  • Fix: Lunging cut won’t result in losing gravity
  • Fix: Can’t pickup items while being crushed (resulting in losing spark)
  • Fix: Crash when room transitioning on the same frame you attach to a hanging hook
  • Fix: Could get stuck in the Orrery Warden arena room if you already killed it before entering
  • Fix: Could jump off boss train
  • Fix: Can’t walk through spark doors on respawn
  • Fix: Exiting during dodging pendulum effect palette issue
  • Fix: Ossex gate made brighter
  • Fix: Localization adjustments
  • Fix: Race still gives reward if hit during dialogue
  • Fix: Softlock when falling into a pit the exact frame the proto spark effect begins
  • Fix: Screen transitioning would be disabled when getting hit out of certain shield states
  • Fix: In the sewers, could lose your spark to the red goopers who emerge from crates, making them uncollectable after the gooper despawns. Those goopers can no longer absorb your spark.
  • Fix: Lena would count Recall Disc warp distance as jump distance
  • Fix: Ice block enemies would not return your spark if you dropped them into a pit
  • Fix: Boning up no longer returns sparks from spark doors, that way you can’t get locked out of the Deprived Path
  • Fix: Beast fireball stuck on npc
  • Fix: Provisioner can’t grab you during intro
  • Fix: More backer names in the game
  • Fix: Armor/Note/Ticket spawn if broken chest
  • Fix: Bounce plant can’t dislocate bounce plant on path
  • Fix: Infinite huntsman issue

There are also two other patches released this month for the game, and again, we’re assuming these fixes are also rolled out to the console versions as part of today’s download.

[Windows] Fix: “An Application Control Policy has blocked this file” should no longer occur.

Fix: Input should function properly when multiple controllers are connected

  • Fix: Out of bounds in Southern Outskirts
  • Fix: Duke easier to talk to over spikes
  • Fix: Weapon Boss caps blocks that can fall
  • Fix: Typos in dialogue
  • Fix: Correct Joules display for Large Joule Jar
  • Fix: Sidearm saver/keeper works correctly with Raft
  • Fix: Peak volume now 90%
  • Fix: Cannot move during dialogue when scaring NPCs
  • Fix: The Congealed not proceeding to next phase / clone sticks around
  • Fix: Stuck on metal under block in bone beach
  • Fix: Joule syringe / Mist shift adjustment
  • Fix: Negative keys for Freeton dialogue
  • Fix: Bellow bustle not allowing burrowing after triggering it during a fall
  • Fix: Luxy can stop following you after falling in pit
  • Fix: Spark cage flying to player behavior broken if you kill it while jumping
  • New! [Steam] Can now force achievements to sync with feats in the menu.
  • Fix: Stutter caused by Steam cloud saves
  • Fix: Fishing areas blocked properly
  • Fix: Abducted clone hanging around
  • Fix: Bone beach tile art changes
  • Fix: Minigame achievement triggering
  • Fix: Can no longer talk to frog while pickup is being thrown
  • Fix: Credits update
  • Fix: Crash when going back to the Astral Orrery auto scroller without entering a checkpoint
  • Fix: The Congealed’s 3rd phase transition could cancel player death
  • Fix: Occasional crash when taking a snowball back and forth multiple times in the screen transition in Frozen Path
  • Fix: Butler not spawning properly
  • Fix: Lionel floor not spawning properly
  • Fix: Softlock with boat. Now respawns.
  • Fix: Dummy cache crash with some enemies
  • Fix: Ladder could get stuck in the train door if you threw it just before it departed
  • Fix: The Congealed did not work correctly with certain boss achievements depending on which of the 2 clones you killed first
  • Fix: Could get stuck in Astral Orrery if you killed a Spark Cage in an area that was inaccessible. Spark Cage now flies to player on kill.
  • Fix: Scarecrow enemy who drops a Kear in Septemburg had incorrect spawning/culling behavior when revisiting the room if you didn’t kill it the first time around. Could spawn multiple copies or despawn entirely.
  • Fix: Bubble Ring trinket invulnerability a bit more generous
  • Fix: New game plus modifier no longer clears save.
  • Fix: Train/Astral softlocks move you to a proper location when starting save
  • Fix: Spark could get stuck if it spawned inside a bush and attempted to eject from collision
  • Fix: Could get stuck under a fence when attempting to backtrack through the balcony section in Radiant Manor
  • Fix: Mina could get stuck in the grab state if an enemy grab broke her shield
  • Fix: Closed Underlab modifier workaround
  • Fix: Bounce plant gravity on screen transition issue
  • Fix: Battery buster ammo issue
  • Fix: Backer name visibility on cheat
  • Fix: Can’t grab things on ladder/rope
  • Fix: Buster can swap when aiming
  • Fix: Bayou shop skull flashing
  • Fix: tileset fixes
