Minecraft New Update 2.96 for Bedrock 1.21.23 Rolled Out for Crash Fixes

Mojang has pushed out Minecraft new update 2.96 today, and this is for Bedrock 1.21.21 that’s a minor patch. Don’t expect any new features or content to be part of your download for today, as this patch was released mostly for crashing fixes.

Just what’s new in this Minecraft patch? According to Mojang, what it does is, “Fixed several crashes that could occur during gameplay.” Yes, that’s it. There’s no new feature, no bug fixes, no nothing — at least based on the release notes.

Of course, this doesn’t mean we aren’t getting a more significant patch, as chances are, Mojang is gearing up for a big one which will be released soon. Outside of the patch released last month to help fix the Realms issue, and the other one that fixes some of the issues from the 1.21.20 Bedrock patch, Mojang has been rolling out patches packed with bug fixes or even new features.

For those perusing the beta branch, there was a patch released for that last week, which didn’t include as many fixes as we’re used to as well.
