Minecraft Update 3.02 Sneaks Out for Bedrock Version 1.21.44
Mojang has snuck out Minecraft update 3.02 on consoles, which doesn’t seem to have a proper Bedrock version release, which is quite strange. This small download follows the release of a few patches for fixes for the Bundles of Bravery title update.
What’s New in Minecraft Update 3.02:
Update: Mojang has finally released the official patch notes for the November 1 update as Bedrock version 1.21.44.
Bug Fixes
Blocks
- Fix all flavors of the skull block being turned into skeleton_skull when opening a world-template version locked below 1.21.40, it does not fix already overwritten chunks
Realms
- Fixed crash on several platforms when navigating back to Realms Stories after inviting a player on the manage members screen
Mojang has not issued any new changes based on what we know. However, we have a good feeling that this patch should fix third-party skins that had issues from working after the 1.21.43 patch. If this patch fixed that bug for you, leave a comment below and let us know.
As for the other fixes released recently, here’s a rundown of what got touched in the last two patches.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue that prevented items being used or consumed when looking at a Copper Block (MCPE-187188)
- Fixed an issue that prevented some Trophies from being unlocked on PlayStation®5
- To ensure players receive all missing Trophies, certain objectives that didn’t unlock previously may need to be completed again. Sorry for the inconvenience and we thank you for your patience!
- Fixed an issue that prevented some notifications from appearing on Xbox
Fixes:
Realms
- Fixed issue where game mode and difficulty were not being preserved after uploading or replacing world in Realms Slot. It should now be safe to play Hardcore on Realms, regardless of what kind of world the Hardcore world is replacing.
Technical Updates
Biomes
- Fixed an issue where chunks created before 1.17.40 could behave as Ocean biomes, with ocean-like fog, sky color, and mob spawning (MCPE-186928)
If anything changes and we get proper patch notes, we’ll update the article with the info.
