MLB The Show 25 Update 1.012 for Patch 12 Adds Updated Player Models

San Diego Studio has rolled out update 1.012 for MLB The Show 25, which is also known as Patch 12. While this brings various gameplay fixes, the biggest additions here are a new uniform for the Red Sox, and updated player models.
For those playing the game on Xbox Series X|S, this should appear as version 1.0.58, with the Switch version as 1.12.

- 2025 Boston Red Sox City Connect uniforms have been added.
Franchise:
- Fixed an issue where a user could load into an incorrect created stadium when loading from an in-game save file.
- Addressed an issue where the CPU would auto-release players if the roster was over 93 players.

- Fixed a bug where the “ball in dirt“ tutorial could incorrectly trigger when playing as a catcher.
