Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection First Update 1.03/1.000.003 Released on Consoles
Digital Eclipse has released the first console patch for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Collection this November 4. While the PC version got updated over the weekend, Steam players of the compilation should see a new hotfix get pushed out that brings it to parity with the console versions today.
Console players will see this appear as Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection update 1.03/1.000.003, and this improves applies input latency improvements across all games, and whole mess of other improvements that the game sorely needs.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection First Console Update Live as Version 1.03/1.000.003
Here’s the complete list of changes made today per Digital Eclipse:
- Input latency improvements across all games (PS4/PS5)
- Improved audio buffer for online play
- Fixed connection filter setting not working properly
- Various fixes to the Fatality Timer option
- Combos have been added to moves list for relevant titles
- Fix for MK3 (Genesis) cheat menus not unlocking properly
- Restored missing audio in 32X MKII
- Additional improvements to MK4
- Fixed issue that caused UMK3 to reboot after Scorpion fatality
- General stability improvements for Genesis titles
- Pause button hold time reduced by 50%
- One-Button Fatalities added for all arcade titles
- General stability updates to Music Player
- Minor localization corrections
- Some fixes to MK Trilogy Training Mode
This isn’t just the only update we’ll see get released. In the coming weeks, players will see an update that delivers Online Arcade, which is an online play mode that allows players to create public and private lobbies with friends. This will also include more fixes and features as well.
Note that the console update released today is for PS5 and PS4, with Xbox Series and Xbox One versions receiving the patch within the week. For Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 owners, you won’t see this patch released, as it’s planned to be rolled out alongside the larger update that includes Online Arcade, that is due for release in the “coming weeks” per Digital Eclipse.
