NBA 2K26 New Update 1.019 Address Playoff Issues on April 20
Visual Concepts has pushed out a new game update for NBA 2K26 on April 20, and given we just received the Season 6 update recently, don’t expect anything from this outside of fixes.
Console gamers will see this as NBA 2K26 update 1.019 (complete version 01.019.000), and this addresses issues with The Playoffs.
For those unaware, the NBA Playoffs has officially started, and this new title update addresses issues that prevent players from experiencing it in the game.

While Visual Concepts hasn’t said anything about today’s patch, the developers have confirmed recently that they are working on an issue regarding the Playoffs bracket.
The issue: The Playoffs bracket may fail to advance as expected when using Start Today in MyNBA.
Per Visual Concepts, “This issue should be addressed in an upcoming patch update, expected to release on April 20. Thank you for your patience,” which is today.
No word yet on whether there are other gameplay improvements or technical fixes included in the patch, but we’re not expecting any. If Visual Concepts releases more details, we’ll update the article with the info.
With the NBA Playoffs in full swing, expect the game to wind down slowly as we near the NBA Finals. After that, we have NBA 2K27 to look forward to.
