EA has pushed out NHL 23 update 1.71 on all platforms, and this brings a short list of fixes to the hockey sim. This patch also includes a small piece of new content as part of a co-marketing effort by EA. Read on for what’s new in the patch notes.

The announcement from EA mentions the following fixes:

• 🔧 Fixed an issue where HUT Heroes player items were not displaying the proper information

That’s the lone fix that was mentioned. However, also announced is new gear to tie-in to the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (another game published by EA and developed by Respawn Entertainment).
