NHL 26 New Update 1.080 Delivers Various Fixes on May 26

EA NHL 26 has received a game update on May 26, and this brings the game to version 1.8. For those on PS5, you’ll see this download as NHL 26 update 1.080, and this brings fixes to Ultimate Team, presentation improvements and more.

While there are no major gameplay changes applied, today’s patch also includes technical improvements for the player when it comes text scaling, the menus and more.

Gameplay & Stability

Fixed an issue that could cause certain menus and pre-game flows to become unresponsive.
Addressed lineup and collection management issues related to players currently active in your lineup.
Improved tracking reliability for Champions win records.

Visual & Presentation Improvements

Updated multiple HUT card presentations for improved consistency and readability.
Fixed visual issues affecting select Master Set Player and Heroes item animations.
Improved collectible and event card branding presentation.
Corrected several localization and background art display issues in French language support.

User Interface Improvements

Improved navigation behavior within Line Combinations and glossary menus.
Adjusted text scaling and presentation consistency across special player item
