No Man's Sky New Update on June 5

Hello Games is back today with another set of fixes for No Man’s Sky, and this brings the game to version 6.44. 

Same as the last patch, the latest update for the game applies a significant amount of fixes, and will appear as No Man’s Sky update 6.044 for current-gen platforms.

No Man’s Sky Update on June 5 Brings More Gameplay Fixes

Here are the list of fixes in today’s download.

Swarm Expedition Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused physical resistance when collecting industrial waste with the Gravitino Coil.
  • Prevented pirates from attacking the player in space during the Swarm expedition.
  • Increased the number of swarmers encountered in deep space during the Swarm expedition.
  • Fixed the Hive of Glass core not displaying its visual effects when charging its central laser.
  • Fixed the Hive of Glass displaying a freighter icon on the compass.
  • Fixed a duplicate objective in the Mission Log during Exterminator missions in the Swarm expedition.
  • Fixed an issue which could cause the target count to reset when switching weapon modes during the Sweeper missions in the Swarm expedition.
  • Added some decimal granularity to the percentages displayed in the Mission Log during the Countermeasures milestone.
  • Improved the introductory sequence for the Swarm expedition in VR.
  • Fixed an issue that caused recurring Atlas audio to play.

General Gameplay Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused milestone icons to be white.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the starship cargo scan alert audio to play when a cargo scan was not in progress.
  • Fixed an issue that caused makers not to show on some salvageable parts.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the terrain manipulator to flicker red.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause an exposed variable in Polo’s dialogue.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented torpedoes fired by the pirate Dreadnought from being seen by all players in a multiplayer session.
  • Improved the accuracy of the number of nearby Sentinels displayed in notification text when in a multiplayer session.
  • Fixed text clipping on the network options page.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause graphical corruption for a few frames when loading into game.

Crash Fixes

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when on the Available Sessions screen.
  • Fixed a rare crash related to freighters.
  • Fixed an animation crash.
  • Fixed a networking crash.
