No More Room in Hell 2 Update 1.005

Torn Banner Studios has released the first patch for No More Room in Hell 2 on consoles today, August 18. This is hotfix 1.0.3.1, and this is primarily for technical fixes rather than any gameplay balance changes or whatnot.

Console gamers will see this No More Room in Hell 2 update 1.005, and this should be a small download.

For the complete details on ths and the added servers, read on.

No More Room in Hell 2 Update 1.005 Fixes Responder Customization Issues

General

  • Various crash fixes including:

    • Fixed a crash due to memory issues that could occur when Responders were heavily customized. This occurred most often in squads, with DLC outfits, and when patterns and other added data is introduced.

    • Fixed a crash that could occur when too quickly leaving the menu when handling character customization.

  • Fixed an issue where players who played in Early Access could have hidden save data causing the controller scheme to be incorrect.

    • This has resulted in a keybind reset alongside this hotfix. We apologize for the inconvenience and plan to avoid this in the future!

  • Fixed an issue where certain Responder customization items would display incorrect patterns.

  • Made improvements to server stability.

Developer Torn Banner Studios has also announced, “We’ve appreciated the feedback and support, we have added a new server region in Hong Kong for players that were experiencing higher ping than expected.”

So for those in Asia, you should be experiencing better match pings right now.

If you’ve yet to play the game, our review of this zombie game is available here where we state, “It’s tense, atmospheric, and downright terrifying when things go sideways—and for modern survival horror fans, that makes it an absolute must-play”

PvE fans looking for another fix: we recently went hands-on with Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, and this should be on your radar.
