No More Room in Hell 2 Receives Hotfix on November 3 for Gameplay Bug Fixes

General

  • Fixed various issues where some players were unable to join squads due to specific networking conditions. This includes being instantly kicked from a friend’s squad.

    • This resolution involved moving to a new system for handling player squads. Please let us know if you run into any new issues!

  • Fixed an issue where certain infinite spawning scenarios would spawn less zombies than intended.

    • This mainly affected Hard & Nightmare difficulties of Objective maps, making some experiences easier than intended.

  • Fixed an issue where zombies would turn invisible when taking nonlethal explosive damage.

  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in the social menu when in a private lobby.

  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to view non-friends in the recently played tab of the social menu.

  • Fixed an issue where head gore and textures were missing from runner zombies after death.

  • Fixed an issue on Lewiston where players could respawn after extraction.

  • Fixed an issue on Lewiston where unintended items were spawning.

  • Fixed an issue where the Scarecrow Hood and Mask could not be worn together.

  • Fixed an issue where the Responder menu would follow players into other areas of the UI.

  • Fixed various issues that prevented certain mask and hat combinations from being applied.

Progression

  • Distinguished Service

    • Base Retirement XP increased from 250 ➡️ 300

    • Rescue Beacon bonus increased from 250 ➡️ 300

    • Bronze Medal increased from 10 ➡️ 15

    • Silver Medal increased from 25 ➡️ 40

    • Gold Medal increased from 50 ➡️ 60

    • Expert Perk bonus increased from 10 ➡️ 15

Distinguished Service is meant to be a long-term progression system, however as we’ve watched data and sentiments roll in, we recognize it’s currently missing player expectation for reward versus time investment. These adjustments are intended to be a temporary boost while we work on additional ways to contribute to Distinguished Service in our next major update. We’ll be sharing more insights around Retirement & Dedicated Service in a future blogpost!

Prior Live Fixes

  • Added a repeat map protection system that lowers the odds of receiving the same map multiple times in succession.

  • Fixed an issue where cosmetic adjustments would be lost if an outfit used Light Utility Pants variation II.
