Following the Year 10 Season 3 patch for Rainbow Six Siege X that was released last week, Ubisoft has pushed out a new hotx today, and this fixes a specific issues, and improves anti-cheat functionality.

Console gamers will see the patch as Rainbow Six Siege X update 3.09/1.000.114, and this should be a small download. Don’t expect any new content from this, as it mostly handles technical issues.

According to Ubisoft, the changes for today include:

  • R6 Shieldguard updates
  • FIXED: Ubisoft usernames are displayed in place of console usernames

While those are the only items included in today’s update, the dev team is aware that drone scanning isn’t functioning as intended. “Currently, to reveal and ping an operator while droning, the operator must remain fully visible for the entire duration of the scan,” the developers state, and they are actively working on a fix which will be released in a future update.

In other first-person shooter news, the single-player campaign of Battlefield 6 will be revealed at TGS 2025 later this month.

Once Ubisoft releases another update or shares details about its next content drop, which should be sometime before the year ends, MP1st will be there to cover it.
