Hellblade 2 Update for December 18 Delivers Fixes via Patch 1.002
While the Hellblade franchise is purely a single-player, narrative-driven affair, that doesn ‘t mean there’s a bug or two that doesn’t need squashing.
Today, Ninja Theory has released the first post-release patch for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 on all platforms, and this appears as download version 1.002 (complete version 1.002.000).
Not only that, but Senua’s Sacrifice: Hellblade, also recently got updated with bug fixes as well.
Hellblade 2 and First Game Receive an Update on December 18
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice (PS5)
• Fixed motion-blur related issues in photo-mode.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
- Fixed instances where rain was accidentally removed in the Enhanced Edition
- Fixed rare instances of projectiles not colliding with Senua
- Fixed missing distance-fields & lumen-scene on integrated-GPUs
Chances are, we won’t see another patch from Ninja Theory for the games for quite some time, as these don’t really need any major updates to them.
If you’ve yet to play the game, it’s not a long adventure, but our review mentions, “this is a trip that deserves to be experienced – a trip into a gorgeous but dangerous Iceland, but especially into Senua’s dark and twisted psyche.”
