Space Marine 2 Update 1.003.002 Delivers Hotfix 3.1 for Stability, Crashing Improvements This Oct. 8
Saber Interactive has pushed out Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 update 1.003.002 on both consoles and PC, and this is a small download, and is a minor patch that doesn’t bring in new content or implement any major fixes. For those reading MP1st, this was the patch referenced last week.
Space Marine 2 Update 1.003.002 Patch Notes for October 8:
Download Size: 36MB (PS5), 5.5MB (PC)
As you can see from the download size, it’s a super small patch. Here are the confirmed fixes via Saber:
Some of the other issues noted by the community that have yet to get fixed include:
- Keybinding issues and not being able to assign the same key to function that use one by default (Interact/Execute and Mark/Social)
- Network and lag issues
- Joining “Server” bug when a player joins via code/invite
- Aquilan Dedication Relic Fencing Chainsword issue
- Black screen after launching Operations and stuck on the Battle Barge (thread)
- Crashing issues when starting a mission with two party members/friends
This is not the complete known issues list, and if we find more, we’ll add it or have a new article just for it. If you have any known problems, leave a comment below and we’ll include it in the potential article that we can then send to Saber Interactive.
Speaking of which, we have an interview with the studio about Space Marine 2 going up on the site soon. There is another — and much bigger — patch set to be released later this month and that includes the new Operations map for free! You can check out the official roadmap right here to see what’s incoming to the game.
