Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Update 1.02 Leaps Out for PS4
In case you didn’t know, EA has released last-gen versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this month! To deal with issues, Respawn has rolled out Jed: Survivor update 1.02 on PS4, and this is a hotfix that deals with trophies, and other bugs.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Update 1.02 Patch Notes:
Hotfix Details
This hotfix is meant to address some issues found in the PlayStation 4 version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
- Trophies fixed for players patching from version 1.0.1
- Pre-order content will now display in-game for players patching from version 1.0.1
- Fixed a Meditation Point on Koboh which did not save progress under some conditions
- Animation fixes for Cal
- Cal can no longer interact twice with chests or totems
Just last week, the current-gen versions got updated as well, which added PS5 to PS4 save transfer and more. If you’re digging what you’ve played so far, you’ll be glad to know that another entry — the concluding one — is in development, though there’s no release date yet, nor is it confirmed for last-gen platforms.
Our review of the game was quite favorable stating, “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a fun action game and a worthy follow-up from Respawn, just be prepared to fight some of its tech issues along the way.”

1.02 fails to fix the following on the PS4 Pro with a 2TB SSD:
– LOD issues in some stages, mainly Koboh, entire parts of structures pop in with a white flash when you turn the camera;
– sub 30 FPS in menu animations and intro;
– Bit crushing in random audio tracks during cutscenes, can be parts of dialogue, ambient audio, SFX and music – this happens consistently.
Other than this, I’m so pleased with this sequel coming out on PS4. It expands everything from Fallen Order to an absurd degree, fun exploration, metric ton of collectibles. Even with the issues, it’s been very fun so far.
