Street Fighter 5 Update 3.12 Released for New Costume Bundle This September 2

Capcom has released Street Fighter 5 update 3.12 today on all platforms, and this is a pretty hefty download. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to bring any new balance changes, and was released primarily for new cosmetic bundles. Read on for what’s new in the SF5 September 2 patch notes.

Per Furious_blog, this update has been pushed out during today’s maintenance period, and houses the following:

“Street Fighter V Champion Edition” is now on sale on PlayStation®4 and PC.
“Street Fighter League: Pro-JP 2022” participating team costumes that can be used by all 45 characters will be available from Friday, September 2nd!

It is a gym uniform costume with the team logo and image color of each of the 8 teams.
Each costume is available in two colors: 1P color and 2P color.
In the PlayStation version, in addition to the special title of each team name, the title of “STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE” will be sold as a set for 300 yen (tax included) per team! 
In addition, the “SFL: Pro-JP 2022 All 8 Teams Costume Pack”, where you can purchase costumes for all 8 teams at a discounted price, is available for 2,000 yen (tax included)!
In the PC version, in addition to the special title of each team name, the title of “STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE” will be sold as a set for 300 yen (tax included) per team! The “SFL: Pro-JP 2022 All 8 Teams Costume Pack”, where you can purchase costumes for all 8 teams at a great price, is available for 2,016 yen (tax included)!

Also, a portion of the proceeds from these team costume bundles will be shared with each team, so you can support your team!
Costume purchases will be available for a limited time until February 28, 2023 (Tuesday).

That’s about it. We’re not expecting any balance changes given the definitive update released last year. Plus, Street Fighter 6 is on the way too, so Capcom is definitely focused on that. Speaking of SF6, a special stream for it will be delivered by Capcom at TGS 2022 which starts this September 15.
