With Episode 8 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League now out, the last content drop for the game is now out. However, that doesn’t mean Rocksteady Studios is abandoning the game entirely. One perfect example is today, as the studio released Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League update 1.023 on all platforms and this is to usher in fixes.

To roll out the new patch, the game’s servers have been pulled temporarily. While the server downtime started at 4 am PT/7 am ET/8 pm HKT, there is no specific duration mentioned. If this is the same as past maintenance outages, expect at least 2-3 hours of server downtime.

Update: Rocksteady has released the official patch notes.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that prevented progress for some players on completing a Poison Ivy mission
  • [PC EGS] Fixed an issue that prevented some users on Epic Games Store from logging in when offline
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from unlocking the ‘Trial By Blood’ Achievement/Trophy  – SSKTJL-9690
  • Various fixes to the gear crafting & upgrading systems
  • Various online connection fixes

While Rocksteady hasn’t released the official patch notes, we do know some of the issues the dev team are tackling. Based on the Episode 8 patch, this issue has yet to be resolved:

  • When attempting Riddler challenges from an Episode other than the one currently selected, progress can sometimes be tracked incorrectly. To correct this, exit out of your current session back to the main menu.

As far as we’re aware, that seems to be the main issue the team is looking to patch. If there’s anything else, we’ll update the article to reflect the changes made.

It’s been a very quiet ride for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League from its release to its content support end. Aside from the news about the game underperforming commercially, and the studio layoffs connected to  thje game, Suicide Squad failed to move the needle and failed to redeem itself in anyway whatsoever as well.

We hope Rocksteady’s next game, which is rumored to be based once again on the Batman Arkham franchise, fares a lot better.
