Tekken 8 Version 2.09 Adds Season 3 Support via Update 2.009
The new season for Tekken 8 officially kicks off this week with Season 3! The developers have released Tekken 8 update 2.009 (complete version 2.009.000), and this is for version 2.09.
The title update adds support for Season 3, as well as bug fixes, and anniversary gifts to players.

This update adds support for the “Season 3 Pass,” which will be made available on each platform store according to the schedule and details outlined below.

# PLAYABLE CHARACTERS
* Character Move Behavior Fixes
– In Ver.2.09, there will be no battle balance adjustments or character behavior fixes.
– A major update, Ver.3.00, is scheduled to be released on March 17.
– For Season 3, battle balance adjustments will be made under the theme of “Refine.” While maintaining the current battle system, we aim to improve the overall gameplay experience based on the following policies:
– 1. Adjustments that respect each character’s concept, strengths, and weaknesses, while preventing excessive performance gaps between characters
– 2. Re-evaluating the relationship between character-specific power-up mechanics and the Heat system
– 3. Prioritizing improvements that align with TEKKEN 8’s core gameplay and the Season 3 balance theme of “Refine,” based on feedback received to date
# Bug Fixes
– Fixed an issue where Season 2 information could no longer be displayed in PLAY DATA after viewing Season 1 information.
