The Last of Us Part 1 Update 2.001 Dropped for Various Fixes
While we got an update for The Last of Us Part 1 two weeks ago to implement PS5 Pro enhancements, Naughty Dog has released a patch today, which is for fixes for the base game rather than anything related to the PS5 Pro. Players on PS5 will see this as The Last of Us Part 1 update 2.001, and is a small download.
The Last of Us Part 1 Update 2.001 Fixes Crashing Issues for Chapter 12 and More
- Fixed a crash that could occur during the final cutscenes of “Jackson” (Chapter 12 of the main story) and “Escape from Liberty Gardens” (the final section of “Left Behind”)
- Fixed a crash that could occur during melee combat
- Fixed an issue where the “Motion Blur” option was not being applied when enabled
Left Behind
- Fixed an issue where the “Don’t Go” trophy would never unlock if the player crashed before it could be awarded
In case you didn’t know, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered also got an update that added PS5 Pro improvements as well.
