Nintendo has released a brand new update this May 18 for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which addresses a nasty progression bug, as well as several issues. Read on to find out what’s included in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom update 1.1.1 patch notes for May 18.

Fixed issue where, sometimes, the player could not clear main quest “The Closed Door,” even if they fulfilled the conditions to advance the quest.
- If you have already encountered this issue, you will be able to clear the quest by downloading this update data.
Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.

I wish I could rewind this whole experience, just so I can play it for the very first time again because if there is one thing that has now dawned on me, the one thing that has now struck a bit of fear, it’s that I now have to wonder how in the world will Nintendo ever top this. I suppose there’s some solace in knowing that this was the very thing I said about Breath of the Wild, so here’s to the future of the franchise.”
