  • Tuning Update (Life & Death’s Soul’s Journey) – Adjusted gains + Satisfaction Point rewards per tier.
  • Merfolk Bassinet (Island Living) – A seashell-shaped baby bed for the next wave of Merfolk families.
  • Memory Boost (Early Access) – Memory Boost is an early access, opt-in feature for The Sims 4 on PC (Windows) that delivers performance improvements by optimizing memory usage, reducing lag, improving frame rates, and helping prevent memory-related crashes. We invite you to try it out and share your feedback as we prepare for a wider rollout.
Per Maxis, “Memory Boost is an early access, opt-in feature, that brings performance improvements to The Sims 4. It optimizes memory usage, reduces lag, improves frame rates, and helps prevent memory-related crashes. We’re inviting players to try it out and share feedback as we prepare for a wider rollout.”

The devs continue, “You can turn Memory Boost off at any time. Any new recovery saves created while Memory Boost is active will be tagged, and at least one original (untagged) recovery save is always preserved for fallback, so you can safely revert if needed.”

You can check out how to enable Memory Boost in this post by EA, that also answers other questions.
