Today we’re releasing a fix to the derailment issues we’ve seen across the game. Initially we released a patch to help with derailments on Spirit of Steam and this has had an adverse knock-on effect to other areas of the game which was unintended, the patch today should fix and improve derailments and prevent these issues from happening.

- Fixed an issue that caused derailments so you can stay on track with your experiences.
Unfortunately, derailments are still happening, and here’s Dovetail’s latest update on the patch today:
Sadly we are aware of issues with derailment still occuring, we’re working on patching these last few issues as fast as we can and we ask that if you are experiencing any issues please share them with us in Technical Reports or via Discord / Support tickets.
Current know routes still affected by instant derailment:
- SoS – LMS Jubilee, 16:29 Edge Hill – Edge Hill Sheds
- Diesel Legends – Class 08 5X03 Coach Preparation 03:22
- Main Spessart Bahn – BR 185.2, DB 83127 Heigenbrücken-Gemünden 11:21
