UFC 5 Update 1.031 Adds Charles Johnson
The first fighter drop of 2026 for UFC 5 has been rolled out by Electronic Arts (EA), and it will show up as UFC 5 update 1.031 (complete version 1.031.000), and should be a relatively small download.
This title update adds Flyweight Charles Johnson to the roster for free, as well as a new Alter Ego.
Check out Johnson’s ratings and details on the Alter Ego.

Aside from Johnson, a new Alter Ego for Mark Kerr. Known as the “Smashing Machine,” Kerr was one of the most feared heavyweights at PRIDE.
The Alter Ego features Mark Kerr (2000) and is available now.
“A physical specimen and a titan in the ring, the then-unbeaten Mark ” The Smashing Machine” Kerr breezed through the opening round of PRIDE Grand Prix 2000, taking a decision win over Enson Inoue.”
Kerr was active from 1997 to 2009 and has a total of 27 fights, with 15 wins and 11 losses. As far as we’re aware, there are no gameplay-related changes made with today’s patch.
The last few bugs tackled included:
- Fixed an issue where some clothing textures were not loading correctly
- Fixed some incorrect walkout commentary
- Fixed some rare crashes
Once another patch is out, we’ll have it up on the site.
