World War Z Hotfix on June 30 Brings Update 1.76/1.040
Two weeks ago, Saber Interactive released the Limitless Strain update for World War Z that added new content for free. Unfortunately, it also brought along a few bugs with it as well.
Today, Saber has released a new hotfix that resolves a few key issues, which console gamers will see as World War Z update 1.76/1.040.
This small download resolves issues with players getting stuck on the loading screen and more.
World War Z’s New Update on June 30 Brings Fixes
Here are today’s fixes per Saber Interactive:
- Fixed an issue when the user could get stuck on the loading screen.
- Fixed an issue with character voices in Toxic Gas.
- Fixed some rare issues that caused the game to crash.
- Fixed several matchmaking issues for the APAC region.
If you haven’t logged into the game for a while, the Limitless Strain update added the following new content:
New Content
- Added seven new Weapon Perks: Triple Shot, Home Stretch, Dance Till The End, (Un)natural Magnetism, Bullets Cashback, To Your Health, and Delayed Explosion.
- Added seven new Daily Challenges for Horde Mode:
- Goalkeeper: Don’t let zombies damage the last gate even once during 4 waves in a single game on challenge maps in Horde mode.
- Die But Do It: Complete 5 side objectives on challenge maps in Horde mode.
- Foreman: Set barbed wires 7 times on challenge maps in Horde mode.
- Force Method: Set mortars 7 times on challenge maps in Horde mode.
- Buyer: Spend 1500 resources on challenge maps in Horde mode.
- Rotation: Kill 1000 zombies on challenge maps in Horde mode.
- I Will Survive: Survive 10 waves on Hard difficulty on challenge maps in Horde mode.
- Added six new Mutators:
- Available in Private Lobby: Lethal Fumes and Still Alive.
- Available in Horde Mode: Lethal Fumes, Power Cut, Overheat, Copycat, and Deafening Scream.
- Added Chibi Bunko Weapon Skin Pack: New DLC Weapon Skins Pack inspired by Bunko’s character, containing new skins for five weapons.
1911 Protector, TMP5, HAMR-17, ACW-20, and RPG4.
Hopefully, Saber releases more content updates for the zombie game, and we wouldn’t be surprised if they did.
