World War Z Receives Fresh Dose of New Content via Waves of Lead Update on October 5
New Content
- Added The Walking Dead Episode to Extinction mode.
- Added two new Weapons, each with unique perks:
- The new tier-three firearm: Bullpup Shotgun BSG-12.
- The new heavy melee: Gas Pipe Wrench.
- Added new Heavy Weapons Perks:
- Last exhaust for Chainsaw – After the fuel runs out, the character gains a camouflage effect for 3 seconds.
- Pillbox for Machinegun – The character cannot be grabbed while in the aiming mode of this weapon.
- Cluster bombs for MGL – Replaces grenades with cluster bombs. The blast radius of the cluster bomb is reduced by 50%. Upon explosion, the cluster bomb scatters small explosive charges that detonate one second after the main blast.
- Dragon Breath Shells for Heavy Assault Shotgun – This weapon fires incendiary rounds, but its ammunition capacity is reduced by 30%.
- Two-layer bullet for Payload Rifle – The bullet pierces through the first zombie, continuing its trajectory. The bullet explodes both upon hitting the first target and upon striking the next target. Total ammo capacity decreases by 30%.
- White phosphorus for Multi-shot Rocket Launcher – Rockets are loaded with white phosphorus, which affects a large area and sets all enemies within the blast radius on fire, but does not leave a burning puddle.
Added five new Mutators:
Let them dance! (permanent mutator): Regular zombies take increased damage from shots to the legs and reduced damage from hits to all other body parts. This mutator is available in Private lobby/Horde mode. It is not supported for The Walking Dead Episode.
Sharp shards (permanent mutator): Explosions from devices and heavy weapons inflict bleeding. This mutator is available in Private lobby/Horde mode.
Leaky Backpack (permanent mutator): While you are grabbed, you slowly lose some of your ammunition. This mutator is available in Private lobby/Horde mode.
Paranoid’s reserves (permanent mutator): Equipment crates may be booby-trapped. This mutator is available in Private lobby.
All-in!: The maximum health of all survivors and all zombies becomes equal to one. Survivors can be incapacitated an unlimited number of times, and getting back on their feet is faster. The time to return to combat is reduced by half. This mutator is available in Horde mode.
Added three new Custom Portrait Frames:
Mummy: Finish off the Infector 100 times.
Hippocratic Oath: Restore a total of 1,000 health to allies.
Sapper: Disarm and finish off the Bomber 50 times.
- Added new setups for the Weekly Challenges.
- Added the Valhalla Raider Weapon Skin Pack: A collection of runic steel and stopping power, containing new skins for five weapons.
- Geist 17MP, ARK-103, BSG-12, Paladin LMG, and Taiga-12.
