Battlefield 4 PC System Requirements Listed on Ubisoft’s Uplay [Updated]

Update

According to an EA employee who works on Origin, the listing is apparently a tweaked placeholder:

“I don’t believe the final system requirements have been decided yet, and this looks a lot like placeholder system requirements from BF3 with a couple of tweaks. I know everyone’s excited for BF4 news, but I wouldn’t trust an Ubisoft page with system requirements for it just yet.”

Thanks, Gamepur.

Those who have been patiently waiting for the PC system requirements to be detailed for Battlefield 4, anxious to know if their PC can run the latest installment of the popular FPS, might not need to wait any further.

Coming from an unusual source, the folks over at Ubisoft (spotted on Reddit) have seemingly accidentally detailed the requirements to run Battlefield 4 on their Uplay store client. Check it out:

  • Processor: 2 GHz Dual Core (Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2. 2.7 GHz)
  • Memory: 2 GB System RAM
  • Hard Drive: 20 GB

  • Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible

  • Hard Drive: 20 GB

Battlefield 4 is set to launch for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 29, and will be a launch title for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

EA has yet to officially confirm Battlefield 4’s system requirements, but we might still be looking at the real deal here.

Is your rig ‘prepared 4 battle’? Do you think it can run visuals like this?
