While quite a lot of details have been unearthed from the Battlefield 2042 beta that was released earlier this month, it seems even info regarding the game’s upcoming Battlefield Portal mode/game was included in the beta files, too! It’s now confirmed that Battlefield Portal class specializations will be available for playlist creators! There’s also a handful of info regarding BF Portal’s weapon customization unearthed as well, which should please Battlefield veterans.

For those looking forward to using the Bad Company 2 (BC2), and Battlefield 3 (BF3) weapons, you’ll be glad to know that both games’ weapon attachments have been spotted in the game’s files too!

We always mention it for datamined info, but it bears repeating that stuff above have been unearthed, and are in no way official. So don’t blame temporyal or MP1st if these don’t make it into the final game.
In Battlefield 2042 news that’s more official, DICE has confirmed that the destruction in the game will be close to Battlefield V’s across “most maps.” Speaking of maps. make sure to check out the latest gameplay released where three new maps (Discarded, Renewal, Breakaway) are shown off.
