Blizzard has officially revealed that Overwatch 2 Season 3 will begin on February 7, bringing with it a new frosty “Antarctic Peninsula” map for the Control game mode. The launch trailer for the new season will debut on February 6 at 8:40am ET, providing a proper look at Season 3’s new content.

The third season of Overwatch 2 will bring a host of new content: the new Amaterasu Kiriko Mythic Skin, the return of the Workshop mode, login rewards and a special challenge for the Overwatch World Cup, and more.
Alongside the teaser trailer, Blizzard has also announced the new “Antarctic Peninsula” map for the Control game mode debuting with the launch of the third season. A first look at its three icy, penguin-populated objective areas has also been revealed:
