GTA Online Next Major Update Dropping This December and Here’s the First Details
While we get weekly updates to Grand Theft Auto Online, Rockstar’s prepared to bring a major update to the online mode this December that aims to bring new content to players. While not specified, this should be a client-side patch compared to your usual GTA Online weekly updates that are pushed out via server-side patches.
GTA Online Next Update Details
From Rockstar Games, it mentions how the notorious Darnell Bros Garment Factory front is under new management, and with the aid of Pavel and a former FIB officer-turned-independent-contractor, you’ll convert it into a hive for the clandestine infiltration operations where players will be able to launch new robberies. These will be accessible from the computer terminal inside the Garment Factory or even remotely via a brand-new app on your iFruit.
Players can expect addition features such as:
- Dispatch Work missions
- New rides
- Job Creator updates
- New upgrades for your Benefactor Terrobyte, including a Collectible Scanner to help pinpoint a wide range of treasures whenever they are in close proximity such as Action Figures, Movie Props, G’s Cache drops and more.
There are also updates and enhancements planned which include:
- Body Armor stock automatically refilling when launching missions
- New updates to The Vinewood Club for GTA+ members such as the ability to access Hao’s Special Works, Benny’s Original Motorworks, Drift upgrades inside The Vinewood Car Club Garage’s Vehicle Workshop
Rockstar also mentions how they plan to bring much-requested PS5 and Xbox Series X|S features of GTA Online to PC in the new year.
No word yet on when we can expect this update to drop, but I’d hazard a guess that it’ll be in the first week of December. Once more details are available, we’ll let our readers know.
