Dying Light 2 Update 1.076

Another batch of fixes has been released for Dying Light 2 on consoles and PC, and this includes bug fixes to the Balatro crossover content, visual weather improvements and more.

Console gamers will see this as Dying Light 2 update 1.076/1.76, and is tagged as hotfix 1.23.2 by the developers. Given that we just got the big Summer Update for the zombie game two weeks ago,

For some reason, Techland only announced the changelog for today’s update on X (formerly Twitter):

  • Updated weather settings to make sure the game looks as good as it could:
  • Reduces the frequency of stormy, rainy, and overly cloudy weather during daytime.
  • Increases the likelihood of clearer and visually stronger cloudy conditions that better support the scene’s tone.
  • Fixed the unnatural shine on a Balatro Paraglider
  • Fixed the issue with equipped weapons being sometimes improperly displayed while collecting Recluse during “Aitor” quest
  • Fixed various game crashes
  • Fixed the issue allowing player to climb out of the map from Tower Raid elevator
  • Fixed the issue with Balatro Space Joker level up feature
  • Fixed the endless freeze after accepting video settings changes in options
  • Fixed the issue with “Y” button being assigned twice in Mods Order tab
  • Fixed the issue with gameplay modifiers are not showing up during the Tower Raid
  • Fixed various translation bugs and issues
  • Fixed the issue with Sola not leaning on the table properly in the Tower Raid Hub
  • Fixed the interactable “Drop Out” and “Find games” prompts visible in co-op menu in solo game

With the spin-off Dying Light: The Beast set to be released this August, expect another update to be released tied to it. Although there has been no official announcement, Techland has been known to release tie-in patches for its games.
